We have failed as Cowboy fans if we do not FLOOD the NFL's comment line, 1-212-450-2000, swamp their email inbox, and stack their facebook page with absolute outrage over them taking away an absolute CATCH by Dez Bryant in the playoffs, in front of millions watching the game. If Dean Blandino gets fired, we have done our job.

What if Romo and Witten never see a Super Bowl simply because an incompetent sits in the league's officiating office, Dean Blandino?

The so called Calvin Johnson rule is full of gibberish about "completing the process " without EVER defining what conditions complete that. Furthermore, in the offseason, they made the rule more vague than before, just to double down on stupidity.

I'm telling you, the ONLY NFL definition of completing the process is DOWN BY CONTACT. And Dez was DOWN BY CONTACT before the ball ever came out. Never mind the 6 football moves he made, which made it a catch well before that, and all the other stuff you've undoubtedly heard before.

I'm still white hot angry over that blatant tampering, I plead with you, make a call today!

They couldn't care less about email, call, texts, picketing or anything else if it doesn't cost them $. If fans want any change, stop watching and stop buying merchandise. Neither of those is going to happen so I wouldn't get too worked up.

While we are at it. Let's flood the league with emails and petitions that the right guard for the Packers had a false start on the one yard line at the end of the ice bowl.

You're pissing in the wind my friend.

No. If 5000 fans started calling the NFL every day, it would get noticed.

it wasn't a catch by the definition of the rule. move on,,stop the whining!

It was a catch by definition of the rule. The issue is the interpretation of "football move". I never expected the rule to be changed. The rule is actually correct. It was the league saying Dez didn't make a football move when he stretched for the end zone that is the problem. Oh yea and that little part of indisputable visual evidence" that needs to happen in order for a ruling on the field to be overturned....it was ruled a catch btw.

However nothing will change this. If Chief Jones won't raise the issue then there isn't anything we can do.

NO! The issue is "completing the process" means the same as down by contact. There is no other NFL definition. The rule is complete gibberish.

We had 56 minutes before that play and 4 minutes after to win the game. The team needs to move on from that play and look at themselves in the mirror for areas of improvement and move on to 2015.

Tell me you'll feel the same way if Romo gets a career ending injury this year. We were ROBBED in front of millions, and we can never get that moment back. We can get Blandino out of that job, though. And get the gibberish rule scrapped.

The process becomes complete once the player makes a football move.
Dez stretched for the end zone after switching hands with the ball. The process was complete.
blandino claimed Dez didn't make a football move.

I don't have a problem with the rule. I have a problem with the league saying Dez didn't make a football move when everyone with eyes saw Dez stretch for the end zone which is a football move.

I really hate that attitude. It's coach speak nonsense. Something straight out of the mouth of the gingerbot. These games are tight and competitive. One call can decide a game. Using the above mindset the officials are absolved of ever influencing the outcome of the game.

Yeah, there were 56 minutes before and the Cowboys used that time to remain within one score of the Packers in Green Bay in the divisional round of the playoffs. Then they made the play to put them ahead late in the game, setting themselves up for potential victory. Then it was taken away from them. Period. End of story.

You should work on inventing something like Facebook that all Americans would come to rely on. Once that happens then you can threaten to cut off everyone' s access unless they boycott the NFL over this rule.

I think my method is more realistic than the call in campaign that you are suggesting.
