From losing Jimmy Johnson to rehiring Lacewell and Campo, from cutting Pro Bowl WRs to signing Anthony Millers.

Yes from Quincy Carter to Bobby Carpenter and from Chan Gaily to a washed up Bill Parcels.

Only one thing remains the same Jerry Jones...well that and losing.

Fixed that.

22 seconds left to play in the 3rd quarter. Cowboys up 24-20.

It's 1st and 10 from the NY 46 yard line.

We have been dominating in the running game.... And we throw a bomb?? Are you kidding me? We are up 4 points, the giants are playing a safety deep and you throw a bomb?

This is why we lost the game. This is the kind of stupid decisions that simply deflates a team.

We could have continued running it down their throats. We would have easily scored another TD and put the game away.

Yes. Dallas had made a lot of mistakes before this play, but at this point we were in control of the game.

It's not about choking, or talent, or anything else everyone is saying. This team had 3 turnovers against one of the best teams in the NFC, and they were still ahead by 4 and in control of the game by the end of the 3rd quarter. This is about making a dumb decision.

Honestly, does anybody think we would have lost the game if Garret had kept running the ball in this drive? Did we have any problems running the ball and scoring prior to this?

They handed the Giants this game on a silver platter.

yah I complained about Jason's playcalling all day just horrendous playcalling by Garrett and down right embarassing....in the 3rd quarter we got a 3 and out because he called 3 pass plays IN A ROW!! we were gaining like 6-9 yards per carry before and after and this guy wants to call 3 pass plays...really Jason is overrated I don't care what anyone says

Who was responsible for that? The main two guys who want to run people out of town and place the blame on them. I swear to god Jason Garrett is the biggest joke of a coordinator I have ever seen.

Garrett knew we wuz on a roll. The fans knew, the broadcasters knew it, Bob Dole knew it.
Anybody out there who believes Jason just suddenly went stupid and decided to go Air Coryell?

Again, I see the hand of Jerra wanting a star wars climax to the game and, gambling the game away by not sticking to the ground game.

I suppose Jason Garrett simply can't help himself, he just has to let Tony Romo throw the ball no matter what.

We needed to be a one dimensional running team last night with the way the ground game was churning out yards and Garrett just doesn't seem to have that in him.

Romo is a great player, but even the great ones have bad games on occasion.

There's nothing wrong with letting the quarterback take a back seat to the running game once in a while. New York focused on not giving up big pass plays because they felt we wouldn't give up trying and truly try to pound the ball against them.

They were right.

I don't know that running the ball more would have made any difference in the outcome, all the breaks just seemed to go the Giants way last night.

But it's long past time that we at least tried to.

If a defense wants to focus on pass coverage and gives you the option to run, that is what you have to do.

But it doesn't appear that Garrett has a 40 run/20 pass mindset.

Balance is nice, but we all know there's no hesitation to go pass crazy if a defense stacks to take away the run.

We need to be versatile enough to go heavy either way if that's what needed in a given contest.

Quit asking Romo to be the hero every week.

I agree. The Giants were primed for the knock out punch. They were on the ropes. Run the football!!! No. It's a Baltimore Ravens "punt' to Sam Hurd, our # four WR (in triple coverage).

Felix Jones gets 7 carries.

What a joke!!!!

This is for Dbair.

I give up.

I see stupid people, and they coach the Cowboys.

That play jumps out at me over and over again. Watching the replay of that play, every WR was going down field, Romo had no check down. He still should of thrown it away but it is perplexing given his inability to do that why the Garrett would call that play to begin with. If you know you have a gunslinger, you dont call plays that will put him in bad situations at key points of the game.

Romo deserves most of the blame but I think Garrett needs to share in some of it, he is as much of a gunslinger as Romo is. Bad combo, Wade needs to keep him in check, but we all know that isnt going to happen.

I also dont understand why the RBs are not more involved in the passing game.

...on a night where Romo was clean in the pocket with 250+ rushing yards it is something bizarre to witness how this transpired...only the Cowboys could lose such a game in such a manner under such circumstances...

...if Romo can't make good decisions without pressure how is he going to make better ones when the pressure does come?...his stock really took a dive after last night...an inexcusable performance by him...

...Garrett and the offense can't seem to stay with the hot hand...they seek complexity when the simple solution is plain to see...run the ball until they stop it...or vice versa with the pass...

...on a night where Romo struggled, Garrett perhaps should've put the brakes on him and instead run the Giant defense until they dropped...that did'nt happen and i wonder if any lessons were really learned from it...we've been here before...

...Dallas has the ability to be quite lethal on offense but they don't need a gunslinger, they need a game-manager with patience and poise...a man who realizes that turnovers are the single most important momentum changers...that guy is'nt Romo right now and i'm not sure if it will ever be after last night...

Yes, Romo made a mistake. He should have seen the safety. He could have changed the play, etc. But there was no need to put Romo in this situation.

Garrett's call was horrible. Here's why:

1. We were ahead in the game.
2. We were killing them with the running game. I mean, Barber and Jones were eating up yards every play.
3. The Giants only cared about the pass. The safety was playing really deep, and it was only FIRST DOWN. The giants didn't care about the run. They were going to stop the pass no matter what.
4. Our defense could have used the extra minutes of rest.
5. Their defense would have been really tired by the end of that drive.
6. Romo had been off most of the day. He had made some bad decisions already, no need to call risky plays in this situation.
7. We hadn't had much success with the long ball all game.
8. Our defense had been shaky most of the game (except in the redzone). You need to keep them in the sidelines as much as possible.

Does anybody still think this was the right call?

Does anybody think the Giants would have been able to stop the run on this drive?

Romo doesn't need to win every game for us. Garret should have allowed Barber, Felix and Choice to finish the Giants.

Overall, I think his playcalling was very good, but this decision cost us the game.

Tony Romo will seemingly have to as long as Jason Garrett is calling the shots.

It's hard to believe Garrett played with Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith when I watch his utter inability to not put the game in Romo's passing arm every week.

There are times when it will be necessary, just as there are times when it won't be needed.

We could have obliterated the Giants on the ground and forced them to play man coverage, but Garrett lacks the patience to call such a game.

New York dared us to run the ball and kept their safeties in coverage for the most part because they knew Garrett wouldn't stick with it even if it worked.

Red can't help himself, he just has to let Romo toss the pigskin.

We almost won the game anyway, but the blueprint is there for any opponent who wants to follow it.

Take away the deep routes and the Cowboys won't force you to change.

What if it was Romo who called audibles and nixed the play call? Its possible because he calls alot of audibles.
