Davis has had better seasons but he still gets some push. Kozier doesn't get any push on any DT's that I have seen him play this season. He sometimes gets some good blocks a the second level but not last game.
Bottom line is the offensive line is aging and has no depth. Kozier is an average or below average starting guard.
The offense didn't play well. I know you homers don't like to hear criticism of any kind. That kind of offensive play isn't going to cut it in the playoffs.
watch the games last year when kozier was out if you want to see poor play.
btw, flo dominated haynesworth when they moved him outside to rush. kozier struggles versus really strong guys and flo versus really quick guys. only washington would be dumb enough to rush haynesworth outside versus flo.
our ol has some matchup problems but all in all it works quite well. we are tied for 2nd best rushing team in the league (yards per attempt) and middle of road in pass protection(sacks and qb hits allowed).
haynesworth is the highest paid defender in football... and no our cheapest OL couldn't beat him one on one... big whoop.
all that said, ol is probably our first draft pick in the upcoming player draft.
