We need some Jones magic

so you think the offensive guru, big mike is writing up plays for moore?
No, but I see him giving him direction and advice...I did it with my young coordinators....8 of which went on to become head coaches....what do you think?

My guess is Moore runs the entire offense. Mike comments during game.... RUN IT, or go for it on 4th. But other than that, its all Moore.
Guess? Lol!! That's funny....also the problem..most can only guess what goes on in coaches meetings and game planning

This is the NFL. You dont hire a coordinator that needs "Advice." Im sure the talk daily about the plan, and mike may say hey, I think we can do this or that, but Moore is running the offense. A coaching staff always work together, always, but Im guessing Mike has little input on the nits and bolts of the offense. I would love to see a hard knocks during the season that shows us their interactions.

Again with the guessing.....in other words, you don't know. You think Belichick doesn't have much input with his DC? Lol

Moore has done a great job...i wonder how much influence MM has had
He's definitely had have to have a decent amount cause Moore seems like a different OC.

If Moore is smart, he's learning for all the sources at his disposal... its like I said in the off season, if he wants to incorporate some more Rub/pick plays - go watch a bunch of Pats tape, BB and Brady made a nice living off those routes...

If he wants some nice play design - watch the Chiefs ect - just put your own spin on it, dont have to reinvent the wheel - just improve on it.

exactly.... NONE of us know exactly what is happening day in and day out. PERIOD. We are all guessing. Maybe Mike has breakfast with Kellen each day and shows him what plays he wants ran. Maybe Mike is talking into thr headset telling Moore what plays to run. If thats the case, why is anyone worried about Kellen leaving?

I'm not worried. I hope he gets a shot and moves on.

disagree. The game is changing. We dont need some "Experienced," guy in his late 50s coming in.
Dak is elite toy he pony that it won’t matter who you bring in as long as he has his weapons. You think Brady or Peyton care who the OC is. They run their offense. Jsut like Romo did. Just like like Dak will.

What would be magical is Jerry keeping his nose out of actual football operations and focusing on actual GM duties.....like finding a way to keep Moore.

We can't let Kellen Moore go.

It would be a catastrophic mistake.

I remember when they hired him/ promoted him to offensive coordinator and Jerry said that we were hiring the next Sean McVay and a lot of members of this forum, myself included, laughed our butts off at that idea. And I think we might have. We can't let him go.

Jerry's got to pull a rabbit out of the hat on this one
I seriously think Jerry owes me money for pointing him in the right direction towards Kellen.

Garrett was boy wonder at one time too....and as it turned out, he sucked.

Ranching, you seriously are saying that all young coaches are the same!?!?

You also have the gall to say this right into the teeth of the facts:
  • Moore has a vastly superior record (#1 offenses two different years)
  • Moore's style and philosophy is opposite Garrett
Bro, this is a really embarrassing argument, and you've trotted it out multiple times. Just stop.

Lol! Where did you get that from....stop pulling stuff out if you behind. I have the gall? Lol.

You got gall, or constipation or something when it comes to this particular discussion, LOL. You make no human sense whatsoever.

The only thing I can figure is that it's some wacky agism or something. Moore = Garrett, WTH?

Get outta here with this crap! Like I care what the likes of you thinks about me....lol...you seem to have diarrhea of the mouth...go to bed....

Connect the dots for us.
We shouldn't have a young head coach because Garrett was young? That's your logic? Seriously?

Garrett was conservative, lacked creativity, and failed to adjust to unique opponent challenges. Moore is the complete opposite: bold, creative, and able to adjust in remarkable ways with game-plans, play-calling and scheming of specific plays.

I mean there is a reason KM looks better with MM than JG....If we go deep in the playoffs you retain MM and tell KM thank you and good luck.

@cmoney23 Maybe I missed it last week, any reason why you didn’t post this same thing last week after the blowout loss?

Lamb and Cooper were hurting last week. Easier to call plays when all your weapons are healthy.

Moore is calling good plays, I guess. Not sure who should be getting all the credit though.

Didn't see many similar threads last week.

He must have been less qualified during that time.

I think its more about being a first time HC and it being the Dallas Cowboys...again just because KM is a great OC the NFL is literally littered with stories of great OC not being great HC at thier first gig....then throw in the pressure that being the Cowboys HC adds...KM needs to cut his teeth on another team then he can be judged. Besides why would we can MM if he takes us to the promise land?
