We need T.O.

Now I've been a Cowboys fan for a long time. I can not remember a time, when Dallas has been an elite or right on the verge of being an elite team that we have not had a playmaker at WR. Someone that at anytime can take the ball to the house or a QB that will make a play during crunch time. Bledsoe is an upgrade from any QB that we have had in a long time but if we are counting on him to win the big one we are in trouble. For him to audible out of the running play and call the WR screen was not a smart move at all. Dallas had already call it twice too Key and to come back and do it to Glenn was just not smart. Glenn is not a playmker. He can run the deep pass but he can not take the short pass and take it to the house. Bledsoe keeps trying to make Glenn a playmaker but Glenn can't do it. Key is the closest thing that we have but he doesn't have the speed. So while T.O. may be a pain in the butt, I would love to have him. I trust Parcells and if Parcells brings him in I trust that everything would be alright. Because right now our offense can not win the big one.

So I am pretty much writing this year off. Hopefully I'm wrong but I just can see us winning the SB.

Peace

if you have been a cowboys fan a long time,I dont understand why you would want a selfish toruble maker on this team. Why so he can ruin it like he did the eagles. I for one being a longtime devoted fan do not want that cancer ruining this team.

you my friend have just put your "true fan status" in serious question!! Also, if think this year is over for us, at 7-4 and a half game back in our division with 2 division games left, you also make yourself sound unintelligent. Winning the SB is not a measure of success. We have already had a successful year by proving that we have a solid core of young guys on this team that can be difference makers in the future, some who already are making a difference. This team has a lot of heart, and we just played our arse off and took the 2nd best team in the league to OT. Tell me thats worth writing this season off, you'll be laughed off this board talking crazy like that.

F TO.

We do not need that POS. We need better OL blocking. Period.

Drew is good enough to take us deep if not all the way. JJ is a top flight RB. Our WR's make the defense adjust what they are doing. Witten and Cambell are stud TEs.

We do not need TO's trash and all his pissing and moaning. He is a locker room killer.

...T.O. although he would help. We really need some more power and consistency in the o-line.

Good post. Everyone in this forum knows I am one of about 10 people in here who seriously hopes to see T.O. as a Cowboy. I really hope it comes true. We need a player who scares defenses to death and DCs to death. We have no player like that on offense. T.O. is that player. Like him or not he can take over a game all by himself.

As horrible as our OL is....if we had T.O. we win this game today.

TO is the kiss of death for any team. He's proven twice that he can be a difference maker for part of a season, and then becomes a cancer. By bringing on TO you might increase your chances for short-term success, but you guaranty screwing up your mid term future. Besides, you want your kids rooting for that brat?

Sarge you may be right I may be pathetic. I may be spoiled from watching the Cowboys lead by Roger with Drew and Troy with Irvin. Not to mention the RB that played with them. This years team just drives me nuts. I don't know if it's the play calling or what. I just know that everytime we get into the red zone I'm hoping for a score not counting on it. We can't even count on a chip shot field goal. So this year Parcells put the D together, next I hope he puts the O together. Can you honestly say that this years team can beat the Colts.

Peace

Guys you can get mad and huff about T.O. being a cancer, but the point is we are lacking a big-play WR who can turn a 15 yard completion into a 50 yard TD.

Our WRs and TEs yards after the catch are not impressive.

TO's not coming this year, whether we need him or not.

There's no one in the NFC we can't beat, and in fact I think we have a decent shot to run the table from here on out and get a first round bye in the playoffs.

I would also love to see TO in a cowboys uniform next year....do you realize how much he scares defenses? DCs have to prepare for him alone...he would open up the running game a lot more also....

not one team in the nfl will sign him to a big time contract...we give him a one year deal, and if he makes trouble, cut em or trade em...

Idiocy. Sheer idiocy. Did you happen to catch the game? Notice the stat that Glenn leads the NFC in yards per catch?

Yeah, DEFINITELY not a playmaker! :omg:

Not TO , I say lets go get Ray Lewis bring in the dominator, some in your face aggressive 60 minute defense, we need a powerful defensive leader to keep this team pumped up and the fans becoming the 12 player. We need a dominating figure to lead this young defense.

I thought I read some place Jerry Jones and Dallas was interested in the Raven's Ray Lewis ?

first of all, you show me a team that will beat the colts.........no we wouldnt beat the Colts, but we showed tonight that we have the ability to play with the ebst of them......Denver is a very good team, the 2nd best in the league, and we took it down to the wire.....there are a few spots that need a serious upgrade, but we are sp close to completely taking this league by its horns.......you need to nut up like a real fan should and support your team. For you to say you are writing this season off when we have a good of a chance as anyone to go as far as we want, is completely absurd, and it makes you sound like you dont know what you are talking about. for all I know you dont!

Capt,

You have to be joking! Terry Glenn leads the league in yards per catch! He can stretch the field. I'm not saying he is TO but give the guy some credit.

Keyshawn move the chains!!! Key is a playmaker and is way better than I ever thought. He is a winner and not a whiner like TO.

Crayton is younger Keyshawn. He has fresh legs and makes plays. He hands must be made of glue. He is no TO, thank GOD.

I hate TO. Can you tell. He does not deserve to play for the Cowboys. EVER.

Terry Glenn is a fine receiver for us, but Terry Glenn isn't near the consistent dominant game-changing playmaker T.O. is when he is on the field.

I'm not saying I want T.O. because I'm leaving that up to Parcells, but T.O. keeps defensive coordinaters up at night, Terry Glenn doesn't.
