Plain and simple... That is probably the biggest reason we lost today.
We controlled the game, controlled the ball, but there were no big plays from our football team offensively.
The Giants? Well they made big plays and gashed us up the middle all day.
Our defense.. It's bargain shopping garbage. It's the defense we deserve for constantly penny pinching.
I think this team has upside but playing a 50/50 brand of football is just going to lead to more losses than wins with this Benson Mayowa crapola defense that we're trotting out there and hoping it can get a stop.
I'm not down on the team.. I still haven high hopes and high expectations but someone needs to step up and make a play. I watched teams get receivers WIDE open through scheme all day and everything that wasn't a Beasley or Witten dink or dunk was covered all game.
If we go 0-2 then I expect to see Romo back week 3.
