I understand we are all mad. We should have won. We didnt.

Now. Whats really happening?

Romo has to gel with his NEW team. This is the first time he is fielding this team as is. Did anyone really think that he wasnt going to miss a beat in this offensive transition?

Roy Williams needs some time. He was hurt on an errant throw. Romo and Roy need time. Dumping on Roy is silly.

I really believe if we can go no worse than 4-4 by mid season then we can make a legit run in the 2nd half of season.

The play Roy was hurt on wasn't an errant throw. Bailey got away with a chuck about 15 yards down field that threw off Roy's route. Without the chuck, Roy gets to the ball in stride and runs away from the defense.

quit making excuses for romo. u sound like that idiot general manager from Little Rock. romo is a fruit basket and it has nothing to do with "gelling". he can't play at a high level when crunch time comes around.

Looks like we'll be doing a lot of relaxing.

Right into the state of numbness this Jerry Jones lead decade plus has provided.

This.

That was about as blatant of PI as I have ever seen not called. Champ damn near stopped Roy in his tracks.

Yeah, how quaint to blame Romo.

Dumping on Romo is not only silly but stupid. Tell, me, who will be here longer: Wade or Romo?

Face it, it was a team failure.

The sooner you and the rest of the Wade apologists get onboard the reality train the sooner we we will know that this team's lethargy is owed to the fatboy, the shrug guy, the guy with the excuses -- and that is doughboy Wade Phillips.

Get a real coach and our problems are mostly over.

I noticed that too. And I also agree with Mick. I really think that we have a chance to turn things around. I'm just hoping that maybe we're getting all of our crappy play out of the way at the beginning of the season, instead of waiting for December.

I'm not losing hope.... but damn this team can be so frustrating sometimes.

The REAL problems are these:

Number one, our playmaker on offense is hurt, again. Felix Jones is the only guy that makes big plays on this team and he was out.

Number two, Barber is hurt, again, and wasn't there to finish the game.

Third, our average receivers cannot beat single coverage and are never open downfield.

Fourth, Romo can't play ball control on offense. He's like a shooter in basketball. If he doesn't get a lot of shots, he gets out of sinc.

Fifth, our offensive coordinator is a disaster.

Sixth, our team, as all teams do, reflects our head coach. We're a soft team. There are a few tough, competitive guys, but without a tough leader who can hold guys accountable, this team is lost.

Not an overreaction at all. These are the facts.

at least it wasn't just me who thought it was illegal contact

I have a question: can anyone remember the last time the Cowboys actually won a close game in which they led most of the way?

Ummm

You realize gelling has absolutely nothing to do with launching a ball 10 feet over the WR head and 20 feet in front of them on slants right?

Well you have to look at it another way. We needed to start off the season on a roll.. just look at our schedule towards the end of the season...

Oct 25 - atlanta
nov 8 - at philly
nov 15 - at green bay
dec 6 - at new york
dec 13 - chargers
dec 19 - at saints
jan 3 - philly

Romo shows this year after year, big game after big game.... Sad to say but Romo cannot win in a big game... He has moments of greatness, sure, but he chokes in the long run...

But it doesnt solve the biggest problem.

Jerry Jones the coddler/enabler

Until that changes, we are the Dallas Agony

no way mick: I like you and your posts over the years, but enough is enough. They've had enough free passes and I bet you JJ feels the same way: the offense has been bad for three and half games now: the season is a quarter OVER. We are two games behind the gspots; how much more time do you propose? Doesn't matter, they suck and WAde and red will take the fall. It's over man: look at the schedule tssanders jsut posted: that's BRUTAL. We won't win seven games this season. Just the way it is. Hope he picks the right guy to replace them.

I wish this would happen but it is wishful thinking. There are always a ton of people that will overreact and act like the world is coming to an end and some that will bench Romo and bench Ware, and bench Roy... all you can do is ignore them and wait for the next week to come.

I agree Mick, it's just a game.

Remember....it's not how you start, it's how you finish.

We're going to lose some games, and will have ugly games like today. But as long as the coaching staff works on continuous improvement and eliminating bad play, we can overcome this.

Still plenty of time to fix the problems this team is facing.

Romo is the easy target...he's not out there by himself. The other 10 guys need to make plays too.

I guess some of you have to options: either learn to love Romo or find another team because he's not going anywhere any time soon
