Forget the wildcard. Our only hope is for the Philly collapse to be real. That's it. They're in turmoil right now. If they lose to the Chargers, they could lose to the Bills and choke one away to Washington. But of course that would require us to go 4-0. It's possible.

The current situation is a perfect example of not being emotionally invested (e.g., rooting) in other teams' wins and losses. One thing always rings true. A team takes care of its own business, or it fails to do so.

May as well pump all your wants and desires into your favorite team winning and riding with the results. It saves on biting fingernails more than necessary. It was more than enough for me biting mine watching Thursday night's game. Other team win-or-lose rooters must have nubs for fingers compared to mine.
