Many factors pulling every which way:

2018 was probably the season I was least invested in the Eagles because it’s felt like the weight (and wait) was over with. Not to that severity this year, but I’m less aghast about our second two game losing streak than I would have been last year.

Another factor is as problematic as Philadelphia is, we beat the Bucs. We beat the Rams. We beat the Packers. We beat the Lions. And while the Bears game sucked, they didnt blow our doors off, we just fumbled a bunch of times and otherwise did nothing on offense. Maybe if we meet again in the playoffs the same thing happens, or maybe it doesn’t. Now, It’s definitely not the same mentality as last year where everyone seemed far weaker than we were, but we have a good chance anyway. So if we make the SB again, I wouldn’t be surprised as no NFC team is clearly superior to us. Or we could lose in the divisional round due to the same inconsistencies.

I’m not calling it a gap year, but sports trauma is closer to the back burner until we have a crushing end to our season and the hunger begins again in 2026.

Broke some furniture spilled Gatorade on the carpet basically did a dine & dash job in Arlington . You can’t be a serious contender and lose at home to this desert carcass.

Our season is done. Lions loss cemented that.

Forget the wildcard. Our only hope is for the Philly collapse to be real. That's it. They're in turmoil right now. If they lose to the Chargers, they could lose to the Bills and choke one away to Washington. But of course that would require us to go 4-0. It's possible.

Agreed. Philly collapsing will be the only way this team gets in. Good news is that team is struggling at the moment. But I don’t think it will take much for Philly to get back on track and win the east.

After seing how Detroit overpowered the Cowboys, why would a playoff berth be important?
Detroit overpowered the Cowboys from the beginning of the game to the end.
And they are not even in the playoffs if the season ended today.
What good would getting into the playoffs accomplish?
I still think the Cowboys will make the playoffs and be gifted some success. But if they don't earn it, is it success?

Well it makes for a good end to the season to see dallas have one maybe 2 play off games.
I dont expect them to do well, as low end wc teams have to play the better teams.
If they were to get in as div champ ( i KNOW SLIM BUT THE CURSE !!!!) then they might win one or 2.

that was a weird game, i Saw that one. Wash looked like the better team, and the home team lol.
Denver looked like the 3-8 visitor.
