The Eagles will be playing the Giants in NY in what could be Tom Coughlin's farewell game. That will not be an easy game if the Giants bring their best effort.

I'm just glad we don't play them in the finale in their house.

If we beat Philly, I don't think it's typical cowboys. Beating Philly in the scenario we face would tell me they likely will win out. I also think Indy is comfortable with their division scenario and likely coasting a bit. The true obstacle is Philly and if the Boys lose then it's no different then the win and in scenarios they faced during the 8-8s. Just win baby.

I dont think dallas will beat philly. We were never in that game and got steamrolled. They are a bad match up for dallas. The could beat the colts though if the colts keep playing like they have been and they should beat washington too.

I'm not sold that those two road games for the Eagles at the end of the year are gimmes either... not even close. But we'll see...

I am buying the fact that it was just awful timing for the shortest week in NFL history -- Sunday night game to Thursday afternoon Tgiving game -- the first time we played Philly. With 10 days of rest, and having experienced the tempo once before, I think we can go into Philly and steal a win.

BUT, I said it at the time and believe it still: the Washington home loss will cost us the playoffs. I think we will lose to Indy at home and beat Washington, and end the season 11-5. Philly will also end the season 11-5 and win the NFC East because of better division record. Seattle will win the West at 12-4 or 11-5. Arizona and Detroit will be 11-5 Wild Cards and we will be left out in the cold... Again

I see what you're saying, and while this is very possible, it is the worst case scenario for us.

I think with 11-5 we will get in the playoffs, divisional games are a toss-up and fortunately every one of these teams have mostly divisional games left. That being said, Arizona will not lose last 3 games. Seattle will not win out. And Detroit will probably lose 2 of last 3 games.

1. Packers 12-4
2. Seahawks 11-5
3. Eagles 11-5
4. Falcons 8-8
5. Cardinals 11-5
6. Cowboys 11-5

It was killer and I hate Alex Smith for it. The Cards were down 14-9 and lifeless and the Chiefs were driving. Smith threw a pick right in the arms of a defender and it led to the go ahead score. After that he had multiple opportunities to move his team but can't complete a pass more than 3 yards.

He stinks

Team finishes 11-5 and misses than you just have to chalk it up to bad luck. That's a pretty good season by anyone's count.

Yeah we are having horrible luck. Its likely 5 other teams will finish 11-5 or better which is unreal.

On the upside, we have 3 weeks of very meaningful football which should be quite exciting to say the least.

In this scenario does that mean we play Philly again in the playoffs?
