We played an awful game against them last time and still pulled it out. We committed 4 turnovers and missed two field goals... but still pulled it out. Our defense is better now, but i don't know about the offense. Hopefully julius can finally get it going again.

Remember last time he played against the giants? He rushed for over 150 yards.

I agree with everything you said. However, when Julius rushed for 150 yds against the Giants their defense was in shambles. You've heard Bill say he's seen teams get decimated to the point where they really couldn't compete - well the New York Giants last year were one of those teams. They had an UNBELIEVABLE amount of injuries especially on the defensive line alone. The Giants were among the worst in the NFL (if not the worst I'm not quite sure) at stopping the run last season especially towards the end of the season. We played them in the last game of the season...

last game we had Flo, but some feel tucker is holding his own....so we shall see how that goes.

Lats game pettiti struggled against strahan, but this is his second time facing him, if he can learn from the first game and now have a feel for what strahan likes to do, we may have some improvement there and quite frankly, that is the biggest mismatch that is in the giants favor.

Having Jones and Barber going is an improvement over Atrain.

I also feel that we are playing better as a team at this point in the season, fewer penalties, fewer sloppy plays. I think the players confidence is growing.

On the other hand NY had quite a few penalties last week, the offense was in 3rd and long many times but looked like seattle played an awful zone defense allowing manning to convert 3rd and longs on pass plays that looked way too easy.

The week before they lost a sloppy game to minnesota.

I think we are playing better ball and better as a team, speaking mostly about consistency, execution. NYG stay in the game cause manning bails them out after offense self destructs, but will he be able to do that against our defense ?
