SPOILER ALERT - You forgot to put those words in the title. Sheesh, now the whole game is ruined for me. Way to spoil the surprise wise guy.

Maybe a mod could change the title?

I think the giants will win, they have the secondary to stop GB.

I honestly believe this. The Seahawks are a shell of themselves right now.

I think Detroit really does have at least a small chance of being victorious. There has been a number of real stinker games from Seattle this year even before they lost some key players.

i wish all teams would build domes and stop being cheapos.

No way. Football is meant to be outdoors. I'm fine with a few domes here and there, but for the most part, keep them outside. The fact that New Orleans has a dome is asinine. Same with us, but I can't hate too much.

We all know that the Giants have a great defense and a weak offense, and the Packers are pretty much the opposite.

So I took a moment to ask how the Packers have performed against superior defenses. In their 6 week hot streak they've done this:
-Scored 21 on Houston (#1 defense)
-Scored 38 on Seattle (#3)
-Scored 38 on Vikings (#5)

Then I ask...can the Giants score big on mediocre defenses? Answer: They don't seem to score big on anyone aside from Cleveland. Working backwards down the schedule:
19, 19, 17, 10, 14, 22, 21...

Unless Manning totally changes form or they suddenly get a running game...I can't see New York scoring more than 17...maybe 21. And the Packers should have enough to cover that.

Also this: Lambeau field

There is no way to all of a sudden turn it on in the playoffs offensively. They may get one or two big plays out of Beckham Jr, but it's not like he is going to score 3 TD's. Not to mention that their offensive line is pretty putrid anyway. So, most of the big plays Beckham Jr has had is against the blitz, inside crossing route. If he gets inside leverage, then he is dangerous. However, not sure why teams even bring 8 in the box against the Giants because they aren't going to run on you. To be honest, I run Man/Cov 2 against the Giants and make them beat you with dink and dunk and wait until Eli throws his timely interception.

The lions are a darkhorse team and they just might upset the "reputation" of the Seahawks. They are not the same same club that competed for those SB's.

Yeah, and Golden Tate is going to be the player that kills them. Tate's got a real big game feel about him, you just know he is the type of guy who is going to show up big time. And yes, I still remember the shot on Lee and the posing afterwards. LOL. But there is something about Tate, he is one scrappy dude.

I said this in other threads. I don't think NY gets out of GB with a win. Everyone keeps bringing up the 07 and 11 teams that had similar paths, were WC teams and did what they did. But those teams didn't have the hype this one does. It's almost expected now that this Giants team will once again repeat history.

We will face neither. Lions will beat Seattle
Yep. Best case scenario is the Lions upset Seattle. Then, we sit back and watch the Packers, Giants, and Atlanta knock each other out. If the Patriots can have a cake-walk to the SB, why can't we?

This is the NFL and it's also the playoffs. Nothing you can say will change the fact that we have no idea what is actually going to happen. On any Sunday.

Or Saturday. Go Lions. ;)

You could be right. I mean they barely beat the lowly Niners...what was that?

Stafford is no slouch and will definitely come out firing. He and whoever that RB was torched our defense in the 1st half for 21 points...lest we forget.

Packers are smoking hot, no doubt.

They are nothing like what we played early on. Luckily our defense has played much better than I had ever thought it could, so I'm not as concerned as I used to be about facing elite QB's in the playoffs. But Rodgers can single handedly win games with his mobility and laser arm making plays down the field.

We don't give up big plays within the structure of our defense, but Rodgers changes that with his sandlot style. Once he breaks the pocket, he's taking shots down the field.
Their offense is hot but their defense is still atrocious, people act like the Packers & Falcons are going to play by make it take it rules.

Detroit barely has a puncher's chance. They don't stick out in any one category. Stafford is a good QB, but they don't really have any one player to hang their hat on. While GB's defense isn't great, I think they will make more plays than Detroit's defense.
