...Our draft? Jerra will play "football guy" and fool the prognosticators. He'll either trade up or down. He wont get a safety. He won't get a RB. He won't get that defensive lineman we need.

he will get some "big-name" guy, a tremendous athlete who Jerra will try to shoehorn into the team.

How about you consult your crystal ball and tell us now which safety Jerry should draft and in which round? Same with RB? And that defensive lineman we need?

First off, your attempt to be old fashioned, and speak with 1940's era lingo really is tired and stale. Quite stupid, actually.....

You are not a writer, you are not a radio personality, and you are not even a little bit interesting.

Making judgements like these even before one off season OTA...seriously?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

show me a happy fan coming off an 8-8 season and the next season looking like the past and I will show you the fan Jerra wants: unquestioning and ready to spend $300 on an outing to Cowboys stadium to see the same mediocre product. Or a fan who is happy to see us as run of the mill.

Are you happy with last year? If so, maybe YOU are of the Bills and Raiders ilk.

me thank you, whetehr win or lose i love my cowboys.

But they doo respond. With cliche and venon and oh, so high-minded moral indignation. So I supppose there is something that strikes the nerve.
In a perfect world, one would think that only those with a real response would . . . respond. But I guess it is natural that those with limited oral and verbal and analytical skills would respond with something better than the above. Nuance and reasoning go out the window. But I guess in the real world, only the cublical dwellers and those on permanent disability will respond with nothing more than . . . indignation borne of a lower form of thinking.
Thank you so much.

The thing is: There are no other teams I might enjoy. I half staked my entire life's devotion to the Cowboys. From the Glory days of Roger to the not-so-great days of "No, Danny, No Danny No" to the Jimma Days of gold and now to Oh, No Romo days.

why do you keep using the work "half" like it is the same as "have"?

I wouldn't know - I missed the verbal portion of your presentation. Only caught the written part.

I wish some people would do themselves -- and other Cowboy fans -- a favor and find another team to support. The constant negativity is really sickening.

DO NOT TELL THEM HOW TO BE A FAN!!!!!

Hating everything about the Cowboys is just how they express their fandom.

Do not be fooled. Oral communication pertains to spoken words. Verbal to the written/imagery part.

And to think that you thot you caught ol' Gimme in a mistake. You yankees should brush up on the language.

ver·bal

2. consisting of or in the form of words: imagery.
Verbal applies to things that are put into words, whether written or spoken, while oral pertains to the mouth, to medications taken by mouth, and to things that are spoken
Thanks for the verbal reasoning.

I didn't read it because... well, I haven't read anything from Gimme since Parcells was coach.

It will be the SOS anyway. But I did want to add to my post count, so, here it is!

Oh, and I will use this spot to say I hope we draft Sheldon Richardson at 18.
