with NYG losses to KC (KC will steamroll) and Washington (very likely ROAD loss to a hated division rival for a terrible road team)... all we have to do is win this Sunday and at home against St Louis (and it won't matter if they beat Oakland).

Carolina would be irrelevant (except for improved seeding and possibly homefield chances / a first round bye)!

Not so bad, or unrealistic.

Michael, I would love for this to be true and pray it plays out just like you state, but something makes me queasy about having to hope that Washington beats the Giants. This is especially true if we beat them this Sunday and effectively knock them out of the playoffs; I don't know how much they will be into the "spoiler" role and all, especially with their injuries. God forbid we bang Brunnell up further in this next game too, that would mean they'd be going in w/ Ramsey to face the Giants.

You got it, 88!!!

The Boys can still take this division.

I think KC is smarting so much from that loss (I read the post game KC press and some of the players are kicking themselves big time for their goofs, and will want redemption) that they will flat out trounce the Jints.

I like how you think. KC will beat the Giants. the Deadskins will be a bit tougher, but if we beat them, all they'll want to do is spoil the Giants and avenge the 36-0 loss. They wont have any pressure, just give Eli a little bump on that confused head of his

That is the key ;-)

This loss to KC will be their undoing. Serious loss of confidence after being trounced by KC AT HOME and then having to go into UNFRIENDLY territory (against a good defense) where they have struggled mightily this year (SD BLEW THEM OUT, 2-11 SF had them 6-10 in the 4th qtr, they lost some more confidence with the SEATTLE loss, and a DEPLETED philly took them deep into OT)
