We WON'T be better-off next year. I say that because a team's play over the last 6 games of one season is telling of the type of team it will put out on the field the following year. And that's because it is in those last 6 games where the younger players are asked to step it up and show they can be relied on for the future of the team. We have already had two poor showins against division teams (i.e. Ginats and Commanders) in games of playoff implications and our younger players are playing worse with each passing game. Even the secnd win over the Eagles was a fluke since even they dominated us most of the game.

What alarms me most about these three division games is that these players actually have the talent to provide a promising future but that has not been properly developed by our coaching staff. In a sense, it's just wasted talent There-in lies the main problem with this team for now and the future. When Parcells says "We didn't look like we had a chance", that statement says more about the coaches than the players.

what that is crazy...teams imnprove, players improve....So your saying since the Eagles played well the last 6 games last year it has proven to be good this year? Injuries, Free Agency, there are MANY factors....nothing is the same as it used to be....

OK - everyone pick a new team to root for - next year is a waste of time.

ya we will, we are still turning the team around. regardless of this horrible loss we did get better this year, but age and injuries got to us, especially on offense. we need a lot of offense.

Wow. One butt-kicking and everyone is off the bandwagon.

I see a team that is a year away. A team that has a very tough schedule and, aside from yesterday, has shown they will fight you game in and game out.

We'll have something for Carolina next week.

And that's painfully obvious when you look at teams last year such as the Seahawks (3-3 in the last six games of 2004), the Giants (1-5) and the Bears (1-5). They all stink this season.

I hope not Hiero -- I don't know if I could take another one of those.

I need no personal favors - and what makes you think I'm in a bad mood?

Good thing next week is Christmas, the Christmas tree that accidentally went flying across the room by accident cost me $35.

(probably $50 in ornaments)

Merry Christmas you jerks.

Back at ya.

Oh...and at least the christmas tree and ornaments were not too bad and you could replace them from a local vendor.

A few years ago I had to special order a remote control that cost WAY too much ....since then I make sure to throw the remote on the couch or across the room at the other couch....no more throwing it at walls or TVs :D

Let's see what happens in the Offseason, especially with the coaching staff and the O-line. We did make some improvements this year, we couldn't fix everything in 1 year. I hope the D is more Comfortable in the 3-4, Rob should be better with a offseason weight lifting program and the other Rookies should improve also. I think JJ will lose some of that extra weight and Finally be healthy. The Cupboard it's empty here!.

You prolly won't believe this - but I broke the remote too. I have today off so I went and bought a universal remote for $9 at Targets the morning.

Luckily - we have extra ornaments.

In the early 90's, I actually bit a remote and broke it. 49er game, so I know all about those handy universal remotes.

:D

My ol' lady says I have a temper so I locked her in the garage.

I was nice enough to let her out this morning.

I'm just sick and tired of collapsing in the 2nd half of the season, year after year... or is it just me? I've got a lifetime bandwagon pass anyway...

I can't stand those universal remotes...I tried it for a little while and then had to order the original one for the TV.

Oh and one year my wife got me one of those foam bricks and wrote for football on it.

I lost it soon afterwards but learned my lesson about the remote.

It is also true that college players tend to hit a wall at the end of their first year because they are not used to the rigors of the NFL schedule. One would hope that means that Pettiti, Tucker, Ware, etc would all be much better longer next year.

Its always the same, and always the same people, after a loss they are ready to clear out the locker room and organization. [sarcasm] Team's record is 8-6 what a horrible team, from 5-11 to 8-6, this team is going NOWHERE FAST!!!!![/sarcasm]

Ya this remote is a little messed up. It certainly doesn't work as easily as the original. Not user friendly.

I know the bricks you speak of, they are like a nerf brick. I got one as a present years ago.

I think I ripped it apart.
