Let's put it like this: The number of coaches who can win at a high level under Jerry Jones is exceedingly small. We just have to hope we stumble upon another Jimmy Johnson.
They went 13-3 and 11-5 with Wade Phillips.
I tend to believe that if Wade can get the team to play at that level, then a lot of coaches can.
Can't win with a HC that can't figure out how to get the defense to play well. A staff that can't keep players healthy. And a QB that chokes in the clutch and a coach that won't keep him from checking out of running plays.
It wouldn't bother me a bit if Jerry stepped down as GM, but the same problems would persist with Garrett as HC and Romo as QB. They are what they are. And expecting different results is wishful thinking.
