Temps dropping into the mid teens for the game. At least they are not expecting snow like they had for the Eagles game yesterday.

This should be old fashioned smash mouth game. Both passing games will struggle as its hard for QB to grip the ball and when it hits the receivers hands that ball will be hard as a rock hitting cold fingers and a wind of almost 20mph means the chill factor will go down another dozen degrees it looks like

The latest forecast I saw has wind gusts up to 25 MPH. The good news it that if forces Red into running more!

Wind chill was hovering around 0 degrees even with the winds in the high teen.

I got that info off the weather.com At around 7:30 AM Dallas time. Almost scary to see if the winds increase to 25 as that will force the wind chill even lower.

Don't think our team is built for cold weather. I am not so sure about this game

We won a game played in 25 degrees against the Giants a few weeks ago. We will be fine. Too many people get freaked out by the weather. The Bears aren't going to be any better or enjoy playing in this weather than we are.

They arent good against the run. THAT plays into our hands, provided we make an honest effort to run the ball. They are giving up over 150 yards/Game.

Cold is not much of a factor unless the field is iced over. Players can dress for the cold and deal with cold. High winds on the other hand do have a major affect in games.

It appears the weather tonight is going to be similar to the weather conditions the Cowboys faced up in Pittsburgh in Dec of 08. The Cowboys were coming off a win vs Seattle on Thanksgiving and were riding a 3 game winning streak into the Steelers game. The Cowboys have really struggled in Dec after coming off a win on Thanksgiving. They're 0-3 since 08 following a Thanksgiving day win. They were 8-4 entering the Steelers game in 08 and ended up going 1-3 in Dec and missing the playoffs. The cold weather doesn't concern me as much as the layoff after the win on Thanksgiving and having to return on the road. It doesn't take much for the Cowboys to become complacent.

They were riding a 4 game winning streak after beating Miami on Thanksgiving in 2011 and returned on the road to lose to a bad AZ team. The Cowboys ended up going 1-4 in Dec/Jan missing the playoffs. Now here we are in 2013 and the Cowboys are riding a 2 game winning streak coming off the win on Thanksgiving and are having to go on the road. Several times this season fans have pointed to games as being critical games or must win games but this game is truly a critical game for the Cowboys when you look at their history the last few seasons. With Philly red hot riding a 5 game winning streak it's put a lot of pressure on the Cowboys and they've folded under it the past 2 seasons.

The Cowboys can ill afford to show up flat tonight and get off to a bad Dec start with Philly rolling and the Packers coming up and possibly having to face Aaron Rodgers. The Cowboys are a team that follows trends and the trend the past few seasons has been to lose following a win on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys have to buck that trend tonight and start playing their best football or they'll be sitting home again for the playoffs. This is the time of year when the contenders start to rise and the pretenders start to fade. The Cowboys have to win tonight or this could be the beginning of the end of their 2013 season.

Romo is a cold weather guy. Grew up in Wisconsin, attended college in Illinois.
What do you think Tony did all winter long with his neighborhood pals and buddies? That's right, play in that frozen tundra endless hours training his body to ignore stupid obstacles such as the weather to get in his way of having fun and winning.

My money is on Romo being calm and collected all night tonight.

This. Although everybody is thinking that the Cowboys should run all over the place (and they should), I think we we´ll see a great game from Tony, when´s the last time a team playing the cowboys have put 8 in the box to stop the run? that will probably happen tonight and Romo will have a field day.

From what the announcers were saying, I don't think they were expecting snow like that for the Eagles game either. That close to Lake Michigan, anything can happen.

He's been playing in Dallas since 03. He didn't look like a cold weather guy in Dec of 08 in Pittsburgh when he was running over to the heater on the sidelines rubbing his bare arms. He was clearly bothered by the cold that day. The weather conditions tonight will be similar hopefully he's wearing sleeves tonight.

Good post. And I was at that game in Pittsburgh in 08. It was unbelievably cold and the game was almost unwatchable live. I can't believe there will be a ton of yards through the air so I hope we can run, run well and run often.
