What bothers me is that there have been many instances this year already where backup QB's and backup to backup QB's have played well and helped their teams. No so much here.

Agree. third stringer gets win today vs 49ers... third stringer beats us last week.

Our second stringer, looks like he just walked in off the street...

There has to be some young gun out there who can throw the rock. Someone with legs who can take off if need be, there just has to, a Colt McCoy type.

Now that RG3 is back are they going to keep 3 QB's? I would snag McCoy from them in a heartbeat.

The Rams third string qb comes to mind. I was all for putting in Dustin Vaughn in today. I couldn't see how he could have stunk up the place any more than what Weeden had already done. Weeden appeared to be hesitant and thinking too much that along with his accuracy skills being way off made it tough to watch.

I am totally with you. We saw today what Brandon Weeden is. And it ain't pleasant.

I think at this point if WSH cuts anyone it would be Cousins. He's been an INT machine.

unfortunately, I can't see them making any QB roster changes at this point of the season. And I dont think there are many options now. I havent checked to see if these guys are on rosters. But I am pretty sure they are all free agents, without a team. This is the caliber of QB that is out there now.

Terrell Pryor, Tyler Thigpen, John Skelton, Thad Lewis, Jordan Palmer.
None of them remind me of Don Strock. (for you young whipper snappers, Don Strock was a backup for the Dolphins, he used to come off the bench and win many games for Miami)

People got so caught up what he did in limited action last week. His appearances was so short no one ever got the chance to see how BAD Weeden can be at times. Instead, he faced a Deadskins team that REFUSED to blitz him and left his receivers open. Night and day between what Romo faced that game.

He still might have been the better choice to stay in that game after Tony was injured. That being said, he is the most pathetic backup quarterback to ever start for a 6-2 team in history. Have at it historians!

I'm shocked at how bad he was, just a half-arsed bus driver performance probably would have won that game today and he couldn't even manage that. Epic Fail.

Listening to Garret's post game interview sounds like it's still a wait and see whether Romo plays next week. We better hope he does I never want to see Weeden behind center again.

Well i'll say this. I would've rather Weeden stayed in rather than give us false hope that he's a good quarterback. Had he stayed in I'm sure the real Weeden would've popped back up. I don't blame him solely though. I blame him for his terrible throws but I don't think they gameplanned well for life without Romo. It was like they ran the offense catered around Romo's ability to extend plays and take advantage of breakdowns in the secondary. That's not Weeden.

I'd personally sit him again. If they can't beat the Jags even with Weeden than this is a waste of a year anyway.

Yes, he was. And it should have been expected.

What disappointed me more was the apparent reliance on him.

I get the run game was stifled by a good Arizona D, but the fact is that we didn't look like we were interested in coming up with run solutions to beat their strength.

We took the easy route and the more comfortable route, which meant passing the football.

All in all, the gameplan left a lot to be desired.

Had the defense not played over it's head, this would have been a blowout.

Weeden was HORRIBLE, but if you noticed he only audibled one play...

The game plan was terrible... EVERYTHING was terrible...

That is the real gist of this.

It was not just him.

We knew he would be horrible.

The whole offensive plan was utter garbage.
