Weeden will need to win 3 games heading into TG

Its really not as bad as we think. I am targeting the Thanksgiving game where Romo & Dez will be back. That leaves 7 weeks of football. Dallas being 2-0 is huge because it gives them small buffer. If Weeden wins 3 out of 7 games Dallas will be 5-4 heading into T-day. The schedule is NOT as difficult after thanksgiving (panthers, Commanders, packers, jets, bills, Commanders). I still think this is 10 win team who gets into playoffs.

I am right there with you, but I think with the defenses we are facing coming up and with our defense and special teams, he'll go better than 3-7. I think .500 for Weeden is where we should start, and then adjust up or down based on what we see on Sunday.

I'm really going to count on the 'returns' to add another level to this team. By then, the yoke will be fully upon the offensive line to carry this offense. But with Weeden at starter for quarterback, the younger players will be on notice. To my thinking, that can only help out this team in the longer run.

Hardy, McClain, and Gregory will add a ton to the status of the Cowboys.

Myself, I'm salivating at the linebackers at that point.

Weeden will have some nasty match-ups over next 7 weeks (Atlanta, Patriots, Seahawks). If Weeden finishes better than 3-4 than that tells me the defense was dominant and OL/RB got it going.

Weeden won me $25 yesterday so he's A-ok in my book after that debacle of the Cardinals game last year. I made a bet with one of my coworkers today (Texans fan) he says weeden will only win 3 of our next 8 games. I see that as easy money. With this defense (getting stronger with Hardy, McClain and Gregory returning) and this offensive line I think he will go 5-3. Romo should be coming back to a 7-3 team. Go make me some more money Weeden!!! I believe!!!!

FALCONS, SAINTS, PATRIOTS, GIANTS, SEAHAWKS, EAGLES, BUCCANEERS, DOLPHINS

I don't see that schedule as nasty at all. Patriots, Seahawks and perhaps dolphins take us out. Rest of those games we should definitely be able to handle.
