Well, it is official:
THE DALLAS COWBOYS ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF WUSSY LITTLE FAIRIES!!!
Nevermind the score, and the fact that the Cowboys actually had a chance to pull this game out.
THIS TEAM WAS PHYSICALLY WHIPPED IN EVERY WAY!!!
When Lamont Jordan gets an extra 2 to 3 yards every time he gets piled on, just what does that tell you?
It tells me that THE COWBOY INSIDE LINEBACKERS ARE ***** SISSIES!!! That is to include Nguyun, Shanle, and James. What an embarassment!!
and the men in the trenches were just as bad.
With the exception of the batted pass late in the game, Glover and Ellis were MANHANDLED!!! Ferguson did his job, as he took on two linemen nearly every down. However, the inside backers couldn't or woldn't step into the gap and smack someone in the mouth.
My goodness....where is Levon Kirkland and Kevin Greene when you need them? They weren't afraid to step up and belt one in the chops!!!
Everybody talks about the hole at free safety. Well, you people need to start noticing the totally WEAK play of the inside linebackers! PATHETIC!!!
Another question:
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BALLS OF THE OFFENSIVE LINE? I will not get on Petitti's case much as the rookie 6th round pick has only four games under his belt. The rest of them though? TOTALLY SUCKED!!! Julius had virtually no room to run. Emmitt, in his prime, wouldn't have fared much better.
The good points from this game?
Chris Canty played a good game. Ratliff made his presence known as well.
If Dallas would have won this game, the play of the game would have been Terrance Newman running down Moss from the other side of the field and held the Raiders to a field goal. That was a great play by Terrance.
In fact, NONE of Moss' catches were against Newman. NOT ONE! Every replay shown showed Newman on Moss' butt like glue! The 80-yard bomb was a mis-read by Davis.
Witten played well too. That last catch, with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th efforts by Witten, I was waiting for that ball to get stripped.
FINAL ANALYSIS: Until this team gets some balls and learns how to step up and smack someone, this team is going to struggle.
