It’s early, we all know this. But after 4 games, some things start to take shape a bit.
However many things can happen. Some teams recover from a slow start, some teams need to gel from off season changes. Injuries, rather short or long term. We know this all too well. I usually wait at least 6 weeks, but more weeks 8 to 10 to really get any impressions of a direction a team is going. And it’s my opinion only, no over powering stats or anything like that. But just a multiple overall look at things.
I asked after week 1, did we look the best in the NFC East, and got hammered for creating a moral victory thread.
I still stand behind that, and ask again, do we look the best in the NFC East? Now it’s 4 games, but I’ll take it. But I still think we look the more complete team.
So going into week 5.
Of course I want to see the Cowboys win, but win like they did against the Saints. Doesn’t have to be a blow out, but just a solid decisive performance again.
Sure would be nice to see the Rams beat the Eagles, but if not, let them put a scare into them. Make it close. After watching the Eagles last week, I think the Rams may have a shot, comig off a bye week. But it is at Philly. But Philly has a banged up OL.
Falcons have something to prove after that loss to the Vikings, and that division is up for grabs still too, like all the rest. Will see how the Giants look after their win over the Commanders, as the Falcons will be a harder test. Falcons need to bounce back and win.
Seahawks at Commanders, well, ok, blowout in the making. I would like to see the Commanders at least make it a game. Not so much as to give the Commanders hope, but to show Seattle it’s beatable even to the Commanders. I do want the Seahawks to win, as a loss will put them on edge for when we go in there. A win, even a big win, maybe they get a little cocky, and works against them. Hope anyway.
The rest, I would like to see Vikings over Packers, Bills over Lions, Colts over Ravens, Jaguars over Steelers, Buccs over Saints (but then people will say, see Saints suck, you haven’t beat any decent teams), Titans over Browns, Broncos over Cards, Jets over Chargers I think, Chiefs over 49ers, Bengals over Patriots.
