we've played an extra game than them so it equates to 1.5

True.

Also remember that we don't have a division or conference loss either.

The Skins have lost a division game and two conference games.

campbell looks pretty good. .
I guess you must have a low standards then. He only had 57% completion rate, averaged 5.6 YPA and 71.6 QB Rating, which translates to average performance. But if you have happy with that mediocre performance, more power to you.

Eagles didn't look too hot today also.

Yet this Eagle fan has been talking so much trash to me since we lost to New England. I can't wait to play the Eagles.

Campbell is improving and actually throws a pretty nice deep ball. You know we are the skins super bowl so it could be a dog fight. It shouldn't be but it could be.

I think the Skins match up decently well with the Patriots. Their strength is their secondary and I don't think the Patriots can run the ball on 'em. The question is, can the Skins score enough for it to matter?

That still leaves us 2 games ahead of everyone in our division.

One game ahead. It's going to be a great race in the NFCE this year. Dallas needs to keep winning the games we're supposed to win.

Ok, technically its 1.5 games, but it's only one in the loss column (and the Giants ought to beat Atlanta tomorrow).

If we look ahead to our bye week, the 'skins have NE that week, so maybe it's ok to think of Dallas as 2 games ahead of them.

homefield? anything can happen and we got alot of bad calls in this game... but until we stop someone with offensive talent, I'm not so sure I even care if we go to the Super Bowl if all we're doing is playing for second place.

We just don't seem to be able to cover anyone consistently when it matters... it's a repeating theme each year and it's tiring. Maybe when Tank gets back we'll see some more pressure but we clearly do not bring enough to slow the likes of the Brady's or Manning'ses of the world at this point.

We have a lot of work to do and have to cut down on the penalties or this season will get away from us. I do like our chances for a good playoff run at this point, but to be in it for 2nd place just doesn't cut it for me.

Don't get too down on us at this point. It's still a new defense and we're not even halfway through the season yet. We were missing our #2 corner and what really has been our best corner all year to this point. That wouldn't be so bad if the Pats didn't spread us out, but that's what they do. They did it and exposed Jones for player he is.

You realize Dallas had not given up a Passing TD since they played Miami. The pass defense is on the up swing, no doubt about it.

Theres maybe 4 teams in the League that have the type of Firepower that the Patriots do. One of them is Dallas so that leaves the Colts and whoever else.

The Patriots are that good. They are damn good. I hate it because they are proven cheaters but even without it, they are good. I also hate the fact that they seem to get some fortunate calls in their favor but at the same time THEY ARE THAT GOOD.

I do think the refs were poor in the game but its becoming something that the team is either going to deal with and move on or get hung up on and slip. It sucks but it doesn't look like they are getting much better and Dallas does make their fair share of mistakes so some of the flags are warranted. Some aren't and some are just blatant piss poor calls. With more even officiating, I think that game is only a 7 point game with it being very close until the very end. Instead, with the little help the refs did provide to NE, they took full advantage.

Dallas does not play another offense like that unless they get to the Superbowl.

I was more concerned with how Tony was going to look after that abysmal game on monday. He looked good. That INT was putrid and just one of those things where he tries to do too much. He needs to realize he isn't a superhero and taking the sack at that point would have been a lot better then throwing the pick.

The Patriots are a LEGIT team and are great on both sides of the ball. Their D is as tough as they come and they have very smart players. I hate to see a team that just collects that much talent and what really pisses me off is the fact that Randy Moss over the last few years has been one of the players that the media has loved to bash. He goes to NE and all of a sudden, hes an angel.

I give credit to the Pats for playing a great game and I was watching Shango's post game stuff and he hit the nail on the head. That pats played absolutely flawless on offense. By far their best game yet. It helps when you have the ball for 40 minutes but they got the job done.

I wanted to see a closely contested game to legitimize the teams record and thats what I saw up until Barber big 4th down run was called back. that play seemed to take all the wind out of the sail and things unraveled from there. This team proved they can play with any team. They put more pressure on brady then any team had until now and that says something. They also moved the ball on the Pats and put some points on the board.

If not for the penalties, some legit and some just bad calls, Dallas is in it to the end. I fully prepared myself for a loss this week and said I would be completely content if the team made a game out of it and play the Pats hard. They did, not as much as I had hoped but a lot of that has to do with the time of possession difference.

Its a loss, only counts as one not matter how ugly it was. Probably won't mean a thing in terms of tie-breaking and such so it's not the end of the world.

Hopefully the team comes out next week and lays a whoopin on the Vikings. They should win that game, no excuses.

I don't see any time having a decent matchup against the Pats. Just too much. The Colts can probably do it because they know they have done it and can score a lot. I'd be shocked if the Patriots lost to any NFC team this year.
