Happy to get a much needed w... I noticed something yesterday.

1. We don't know how to tackle.
2. We do pretty good when the offense is an even keel.
3. WE CAN GET SACKS AND TURNOVERS!
4. I like buttler alot.
5. Barber and Jones can not be counted on.
6. all 3 backs should get 10-12 touches a game.
7. Our WR's are garbage.
8. We never had a T.O. We have a W.P. and J.G. problem.
9. Jon Gruden wants a job Jerry...

Of all the bad things I saw yesterday they all seemed like things that are coaching mistakes not player mistakes (with the exception of carp... GO AWAY BARBIE! JUST RETIRE!!!!!) and most importantly we were able to fight through mistakes like bad tackling and bad play calling and still pull out a win. J.G. did a good job in the 2nd half, nice adjustments...

The first half was certainly ugly, but it's not fair to say it was an ugly win. A month ago, the Denver game looked like a cakewalk when Orton was thowing those ridiculous pre-season interceptions, but now I'm not so sure.

1st half was not a coaching problem, the coaches were not committ penalties or missing the blitz the players were. They cleaned it up the 2nd half but Dallas was able to move the ball through out the game just shot themselfs in the foot during the 1st half.

As for tackling your right it was pathetic in the 1st half much better in the 2nd half

I agree with you. Denver is going to be tough. That mile high altitude will rob a lot of our stamina. This team gets gassed with the roof closed and the a/c on. What do you think will happen in Denver without oxygen? It's a win on paper. In reality we're walking into a buzzaw.

Denver is normally a hard place to play. Wade was in Denver and knows something about the conditions his team will face.

I disagree with all of those.

I am not sure how you can look at it as "at least we won"

The D was GREAT in the second half. What was it like 7, 3 and outs.

We ran the ball incredibly well.

I really think the biggest thing in this game was the lack of MBIII in the blitz pickup.

If we had him there we would have had 14 points in the 1st half IMO. The blitz pickups in the 1st half were the MAIN reason for 1st half woes because the blitz took us out of makeable down and distance 2-3 times.

We had one bad series on D - there is really nothing else to complain about for the D.

Everybody is looking for some kind of perfection. It is old!

...

1) Although, we did tackle better than Carolina. So what's Carolina's excuse? They were 12-4 last year and I assume they practice tackling during camp.

3) Against Carolina and Jake Delhomme we can get turnovers and sacks.

7) Don't need great WRs to win. Just need good WRs to run the correct routes and make the grab.

8) TO had zero catches for zero yds vs New Orleans. Tells you anything?

The LBs tackled well actually. Mike Jenkins made one good tackle and one good hit. Sensabaugh made a tackle. Newman has never been a great tackler and Hamlin had the horrible miss where he went for the hit instead of the tackle on the play that was called back. But other than that our DBs weren't any worse than Carolina's, and the rest of the team tackled pretty well. IMO people just have unreasonable expectations.

**NEWSFLASH** Second year cornerbacks do not tackle well **NEWSFLASH**

I think it is being lost in the fact that Moose got called for a penalty, but Ken Hamlin whiffed on the tackle. I don't understand players, not only Cowboy defensive players, not wrapping guys up anymore. All they do is run into the guy, and hope that they go down. What happened to technique? I know ESPN.

I see as at least we won because we were playing a team who isn't that good to begin with. Who was a bit banged up to boot. Our team didn't know how to tackle, committed to many penalties, missed a FG, lost our most explosive weapon to injury, the line could not hold up to save their lives, the WR's were very unimpressive and we couldn't stop the 2 minute offense again this week. If steve smith not chose to run a different route mid play tnew doesn't take the td back and who knows what happens in the final mins. But T new showed up made a played when we needed it and I say at least we won.
Oh yeah and Tony... Heck the team did not look good in the redzone... Just plain ugly... Oh and Roy is no No 1.
