+1, and Weiss is obviously not as good as everyone thought he was.

it's not like the crirish weren't haven't been getting top recruits over the past 3 and a half years.

Well they can't get a BCS at large bid with four losses although with Notre Dame, who knows.

We know they will have a fifth loss at USC so if they lose one of the next two, unlikely as that might be, perhaps no bowl bid at all :laugh2:

Actually Weis has gotten top recruits in 2006, 2007, 2008. So that is three years. Unfortunately he was not able to recruit many good O linemen untill 2007, and Willingham had been horrendous at recruiting O linemen. That was the main problem last year, and it still is not fixed this year.
I frankly think that Latina, the O line coach, should be axed. Despite a lot of talent the first two years, ND's O line has underperformed badly pretty much the entire time he has been here. Charlie needs to improve his staff or he will be gone.

UT tied them in all time wins btw. first time since like 1939 or something that its not just notre dame and michigan as the top two teams. who knows, michigan keeps playing like they are we might catch them too
