...a ringing endorsement with that press conference yesterday did he? What was all that crap about field conditions and weather? He just blew off LBOH's question about his progress. I mean he addressed it, but barely. "Yeah he looks like he is making progress". I did not expect anyone to ask about Drew with the TO circus in town, but when they did I hoped he would seem a little more impressed or pleased with the progress he has shown. Maybe Romo doesn't have anything to fear this TC.

I think you making more out of the comment than there really is. Heck he was not gushing over TO either. In most cases when Bill is asked about a player your not going to get rave reviews.

This is exactly why Parcells didn't make public comments for awhile. He gives the politically correct middle of the road answer and someone jumps on it because it wasn't "gushing". :bang2: :bang2:

Next some mouth-breather will chime in with "He didn't say anything bad, he must love Henson". :banghead: :banghead:

I think you can chalk it up as another one of his "head games." He may or may not be happy with Henson's progress, but if he is he doesn't want Henson knowing it just yet. He doesn't want him backing off any.

That was pretty weak endorsement huh?

Why should he. Any thing he says or don't say, would being taken out of context.
Being hyped up on NFLE player, to BP is like being hyped up on a NCAA player. He's not going to say anything.

I totally agree. That's the way Parcells has always been...if something's good, he isn't going to gush over it and will often try to push the player even more. If something is bad, then Parcells will make it even worse. For example, his Skyler Green comment....obviously Green isn't 'fat', but this is the way he trys to motivate sometimes.

I couldn't care less what Bill thinks of Henson. Most have Bill gone after this year anyway, and we all know Henson's getting ZERO reps this year.

Isn't that the point I was trying to make by starting this thread? I mean he was asked directly what he thought of Henson's European stint (he was not just going to comment out of the blue with gushing/rave reviews), and if Henson had made progress. So by the answer he gave, doesn't that lend to believe he is either not very impressed with the progress he has seen, or he simply does not want Henson to become satisfied with his progress. If the whole silence is deafening thing were true he may have spoken volumes with what he did and did not say.

Goodness, he didn't exactly throw him under the bus either. It was just typical Parcells...and the truth. Henson has looked better over there. He still needs to do it in Dallas, but it looks like he's going to get every opportunity to.

I don't care what Bill thinks, and I'm suprised you do or anyone else does. Bill isn't going to be here much longer if at all after this year. Henson is going to be our next head coahces problem.

SO why should I or anyone else care what BP thinks of Henson?

Because he has the power to cut his *** or trade him to another club. And Parcells is a good judge of talent, so maybe you should take into consideration what he thinks of Henson.

AGAIN WHY DID YOU CARE ENOUGH TO OPEN A THREAD REGARDING WHAT BILL THINKS OF HENSON, AND GO A STEP FURTHER BY POSTING THAT YOU DON'T CARE? WHY NOT JUST STAY OUT OF THE THREAD OR EVEN IF YOU OPEN IT, NOT POST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER? IF YOU TRULY DO NOT CARE.

Sorry for the all caps, mistake not yelling or angry.

The way Henson has played today, It wouldn't suprise me if he gets cut. Like someone in another thread pointed out....Henson has been flat for the last few weeks, and on top of that, banged up knee or not he got replaced in the 4th qtr because of his play, not his knee.

He also said after that first loss to the Admirals, his goal was no longer the World Bowl or to win every game, but simply to gain experience and improve on his reads until he comes home. Whether that came from the staff at home (as he ealluded to them having things to focus on the second half of his Europe stint) or not I have no idea.

It seems like Henson and the whole team has gone into the tank since they got their heads handed to them by the Admirals two weeks in a row. Henson has not played as well since.
