I think in Trufant's hey day he would single cover Miles and do it well. Those days are past, for now anyway. He supposedly won't play 1st and 2nd downs today: could be a smoke screen, who knows. Anyway, if this doesn't open it up for RW nothing will. The man needs a big game like a drowning sailor needs a life ring. I for one am hoping he gets it because we can't go too far with one very good WR. Need at least two obviously...........

I expect another big day, can't expect as big as the last two, but the Seattle D will have all of zero answers for Dallas all day.

If they double him, and Roy Williams disappears, I would think that would open up something for Witten. Go three wide and Crayton is in there. Maybe even OGLETREE!!

I think Garret will find ways to move the ball if Austin is doubled. Like someone said a while back, he unlocked a few new plays in the Tecmo playbook.

What is this Roy Williams that you speak of?

Miles has shown he can beat double coverage at times too. Ask the Packers about that. :)

If the game plan comes down to Garrett making mid-game adjustments...Dallas is doomed

I'm a believer in Austin now. He won't get 170+ every game, but he is the real deal. The Cowboys have another weapon at their disposal. As far as Roy, I would love to see him be a factor today. I'm pulling for him. I see no reason not to.

At the bank - he has hired someone to count his money due to his alligator arms and butterfingers.

That's not the issue at hand. The real issue is, how will ROY do when Miles is doubled covered. That's what really matters.

I know Austin denies it, but Atlanta was giving him double coverage and single covering Williams for most of the game last week.

That was not funny either time.

The main beneficiary of Austin's emergence will be Witten, not Roy.

That being said, it will indeed open things up for Roy as well, so he should take advantage of the opportunity.

That's because he is beyond outside help at this point in time.

He will need to dig deep and commit himself to improvement on the field - that means lots and lots of practice with WR coach to work on his cuts, footwork and hands.

He seems far to classy to point out the obvious, at the expense of hurting RW's ego.

from what i can tell they arent doubling austin deep, but they are leaving a safety real deep over the top on austin's side if he breaks loose
