I cannot imagine Cowboy fans not hoping for a Green-uniformed Wentz implosion. Yeah, he is probably a nice guy. So are probably lots of Eagles and GiANTS players. But I for one am not going to applaud at game time, anybody not in a Cowboys uni.

As I stated, I hope that he has s great career, but I hope Dallas wins when facing him. I am an Eli fan due to his father and from playing for Ole Miss. I like to see both of the Manning brothers do well. I can't go from liking the guy to hating him due to him being drafted by a team that I don't care for. Fans have the habit of automatically hating any player that plays for a rival team. I think fans take the rivalry thing much more serious than the players do in the modern NFL. If Wentz adopts the Philly mentality and becomes a jerk, I will change my opinion of him in a hurry.

I just remember lots of loud booing when McNabb's name was announced. I also remember seeing lots of PO'd Iggles fans.

They booed Santa. They just can't help themselves.

Exactly. I'm sure Wentz is a good kid. I would love to see him traded/waived to another team where he does great. As long as he's in Philly, I'm rooting for that team to do 0 and 16, as I do every year.

Takes a different sort of psyche to QB those big market east coast teams like NY and PHI. Those fans are ruthless. Probably contributes to teams like Philly and the Jets chewing up and spitting out a new QB every year or so

I think Philly fans are as pathetic as the next guy, but my god... there were like 5 fans there. Why couldn't he have just signed real quick for them? Not a good look for Eagles fans or Wentz imo

Boos directed at Wentz are more for the front office because fans are not going to forgive them for trading away so many draft picks unless there's a Lombardy in the near future. They boo'd the trade, and now they boo the player, but it will be hard on him. I'm sure he's not used to that kind of treatment.

I feel so wrong for smiling the whole time I'm typing this.

Philly fans are the scum of the earth, I would know because I've lived in this miserable city for almost 20 years.

This moment sums it up: During the '09 wild card game, I got three beers thrown on me...by completely different people!! I mean it was a Felix Jones jersey but damn that was expensive and still smelled after washing it

So ridiculous. Wentz can't be happy. Can't be happy at all...until he checks his bank statement.

It was 30 guys that dubbed themselves the "Dirty Thirty". Those idiots still wear that with a badge of honor.
