From my understanding, the Colts tried to talk Rivers into playing one more and I just read a tweet they approached the Raiders about Carr but was turned ....he wasn't available. In other words, Wentz was their third choice.

Because they were exploring options doesn’t me he was their third choice. Maybe he was, just saying.

I'm kind of glad the Eagles couldn't repair the issues with Wentz. I'd much rather they start Hurts. He looked like flat out garbage against our sad defense. His legs are the only thing that saves him. Maybe he improves, but I wouldn't want that quarterback starting as he is right now.
