it could be that Jones is covering his bases in case a deal cant be worked out with Norv

or it could be he really is doing as much due dilligence as possible and just wanting to make sure he isnt missing out on somebody

I've read that one of the reasons he would switch to the Cowboys is that he'd been seen as the guy running the defense - unlike in Chicago. (The other reason being money, of course.) And down the line, if Rivera is seen as the defensive guru, it will be easier for him to get a HC position. Out of L. Smith's shadow . . . .

well everyone and their dog around here keeps claiming Norv would be a puppet coach and Werder clearly said Norv would be NO puppet if he took the Dallas job...so I would consider that against what most keep claiming

too much obviously, it's funny, cuz as soon as I came onto the main page, saw Werder was reporting, I rushed to open the thread to see what was he's reporting :bang2: fooled again
