ESPN reports after Wednesday's practice Reid announced Westbrook ready to play Sunday. No headaches or other residual symptoms. Great for him but I was hoping on his HAs to last thru the weekend. That's what I get for being greedy and ugly I guess.

I really had no doubt that he would play. I always look forward to going aginst the eagles and would rather beat them with no excuses.

The way the secondary has been hitting he might wanna wait a week!!!!! We might put him out for the second straight week.

I would definitely wait at least one more week before letting him get back on the field.....

The old sports adage goes, "To be the best, you have to play the best". Personally, I don't feel that the Eagles are the best at this stage of the season, but if past history has any say, they will play like one of the best against us Sunday.

Philadelphia has some quality offensive weapons now with Jackson and Celek (sp?), but until he proves otherwise, Westbrook will always concern me most of all. He is a quality all-purpose back who can take over a game. No matter how many deep passes are thrown Jackson's way, he will be the primary focus of my attention.

Hopefully, Felix Jones can do the same for our fellow Eagles fans as well. After seeing Westbrook gash us over the years, it would be nicely appreciated if their fans could receive some of the same treatment our team has gotten too. ( :crossed: )

Westbrook is more dangerous than even Felix is. IMO. He's used better, too. IMO.

Westy is a good player. However, if he takes one clean, hard shot to the head, he's going to be right back on the sidelines. It is too soon IMO. Concussions will come right back if you don't completely recover... and if you have enough of them, you will get them more and more frequently.

It has happened to many NFL players over the years.

We should just hit him hard the first play regardless of if he has the ball or not and drive his head right into the turf. Who cares if get a 15 yard penalty, it will be worth it.

I have to agree with all that based on this stage of his career, but if Felix has an opportunity to go off on Philly Sunday, I ain't gonna complain any!

Somebody grab Kieth brookings phone number its game time. Our front seven have been making big plays against the run. Kieth I believe gives us that mean agressiveness that we`ve been looking for line him up with westbrook and use bradie james and a saftie on brent celek on singlebak two wide out one or two tight end sets and we`ll clog their run and short passéscreen plays hopefully.

Actually, this should be good news for the Cowboys. The Eagles ran all over New York without him last week. Westbrook couldn't have done the same.
