A win today would guarantee a winning record heading into the bye.

Our first 4 game winning streak since 2014.

A win against a perineal playoff team in recent years.

A winning record at home.

With an Eagle loss tie for 1st place.

Confidence in Dak heading to Green Bay.

This will be a tough game. But I would not be surprised if we win. The OL is playing like s bunch of bullies.
I can see us playing keep away and whipping their DL in the second half.

I think after this win teams will start to worry about us rather than the other way around.

A win today means that next week won't suck. It means that Monday will be listening to sports radio, watching first take, and general gloating day.

A loss means the world is a dark place. I cannot lie, my general happiness is tied to the Cowboys

I used to be the same way, bro. Honestly, it's a ****** way to spend 5 months of the year. I'm not even going to mention the amount of money I've spent to replace stuff in my house over Cowboys losses over the years (but it does include 2 TVs and that's just the start). It, honestly, affected WAY too many aspects of my life. Over a game. Stupid. I still get pissed after a loss and my wife knows to leave me alone for a good 15 minutes or so afterward. After that? I'm over it. Time to do some yard work, or go fishing, or take a drive out in the mountains with the wife to check out the elk, deer, and turkeys. I just decided that I refuse to let ANYTHING have that much control over my general happiness (and this team had for FAR too long). I would literally go into bouts of minor depression for full losing streaks of time. **** that. No more.

But I DO enjoy me some Cowboy wins.

I totally can relate. Thanksgiving Dinner is either a great evening or a bad event for everyone depending on the Cowboys results. All the relatives are die hard cowboy fans too. Thanks for posting good to know that other peeps went/ go threw the same emotions.

Bro, I've got family that to this day, refuse to spend Thanksgiving with me. That sucks. I brought it on myself but holy ****. Family refusing to spend a holiday with you over a football game? That's when I knew that the whole thing had me by the balls and was getting WAY out of hand. Dialed it back about 100 fold and I've actually enjoyed every football season since (even if it didn't end the way I wanted it to. And yes, I shed more than a tear after Green Bay).

It got better for me when I started digging deep into analysis. I had to know why the Cowboys lost, especially close games.

Now when they win, I'm not as motivated to analyze the games. I don't have deep need to know why they won.

Continued momentum and increased momentum.

I don't go into a dark mood for too long if we lose as its generally straight to sleep for me as soon as the game ends, but I sometimes struggle to sleep if we win as still buzzing.
