The NFL's darling went down and showed his true colors in the process.

Living in Colorado, I'm hearing nothing but crickets. Lost to an 0-5 team at home. B-E-A-utiful.

Skins struggling with the Niners.

Only thing that would've made it perfect is if the refs didn't ripoff the Jets....................

Pretty sad that what constitutes a great football weekend is what other teams did while our limp franchise was off.

And there's nothing good about Rodgers getting hurt. I enjoy watching greatness and he's great.

Didn't watch a second of football all weekend. Loved it.

Will probably watch Dallas next week, but I'm done with the NFL as a whole and watching all the games all day like I used to. Can't stand the league.
I watched football all weekend. HS on Friday, middle school and College on Saturday and NFL all day yesterday. I don't care for all of the off the field crap, but I just enjoy football.

The NFL is truly pathetic these days.

It's like a bunch of pick-up street games every weekend. Every team is running the Southlake Carroll offense. Gimmicky nonsense, relying on no-huddle, shotgun draws, quick screens, dink and dunk, and bombs. All framed in a storm of flags, constant replay, and childish mistakes.

Where are those beautiful 15-yard timing routes of 20 years ago? Where is the power running game? Why are teams constantly in the spread on 3rd and 1? Where is the mano-a-mano football? Where's the damn kickoff return?

It's been reduced to Football for Dummies. And it's ugly and boring to watch.

some of you guys kill me....the cowboys have the day off, so they can't lose, right? unless all 3 NFCE teams win, meaning that Dallas is now further backwards in the rankings than they were after the GB debacle...only one game ahead of the hapless Giants...

...a lousy weekend when you can't even watch your favorite team and then the rest of the division improves while the Cowboys sleep

True, the Cowboys lost ground to the entire division this weekend.

Unfortunately I agree with you, and I hate admitting that. It may be sad, but "back in the day" I lived for Sunday and spent all day absorbing every bit I could get. Now I can't sit through 2 drives of these games.

I love this site, and I love the Boys, but even the Cowboy games are losing their luster for me and if I have even a reasonable activity offer I tape the game, log in here a few times to get a feel for what's happening, and enjoy my Sunday afternoons doing something which actually affects me. I still have my all-22 subscription, but even that is really starting to irk me watching games around the league.

I have started going to some local high school football games, which up here in NH certainly isn't anywhere near the level of TX, but it does look eerily similar to what I see on Sunday, at least from a scheme perspective. As a bonus the rules and the refs make the game flow a little more.

it was a great football because the best player in the game went down? Wow, I am amazed at the pure hate of some people.

It's also great because there ain't gonna be no more discount double checking until next season. Now the cowboys just need to get to the playoffs.

Only a few people really feel that way. Most people despise injuries no matter who they happen to. I know you're a Packers fan and I appreciate how you have always been respectful when visiting here.

What did Aaron Rodgers do after his injury? Show his true colors? What happened?

My buddys and I were saying the same things this weekend. The NFL has turned to garbage....the teams are inept.
