What a horrible start to FA - - Again

IMO - Ferguson - Rivera were collossal busts - Huge huge! money for two 30 something stiffs - who never made a difference, especially Rivera who was pushed back consistently.

Now we come out and sign a career backup OL? who is too slow to play LT - and we re-sign a guy who is so slow that he was actually leapfrogged for a TD last season, when in fact he was the one who started the p;lay by snapping the pig!

Ok - not that was bad enough - but we haven't had a Kicker since Boniol and whadda we do? we let 3 get snapped up yesterday - Corey Chavous? Snapped up - Chris Hope - not coming :bang2: = More Keith Davis and Roy"I no Cover" Williams

alot of the guys signed got absolutely LUDICROUS contracts when compared to their real ability

once again...Pats and Steelers have won 4 of last 5 super bowls...they didnt do it throwing away money just for the sake of signing people

I agree with you that we got off to a horrible FA start but I do not think Ferguson and Rivera can be considered bust...
Giving Kosier over 3 million a year is mind puzzling to say the least ..The guy stinks and we alreay have several guys on the team that are as good if not better than this guy.

We just gave him tier 2 money

I am not disappointed yet. We the lack of signings around the league,, It suggests to me, the players are wanting to much with the new cba. they know teams got 7.5 million more money and they want their share. i think GM's are playing the waiting game to pay less. So far, only one player i think we were interested in has signed,, but I think Adam V is and always have been our first choice and he is still out there. By tuesday, I look for us to have signed a Kicker, a FS and possibly another OF. then of course we sign our WR , TO. We might pick up another TE too. but I think that will be fixed in the draft. along with another OL, WR and 2 Lb.. in that order.

Jerry predicted it would be a longer signing process this offseason, yet everyone is shocked we havent signed any huge names. Who has been picked up that Dallas has really wanted to make a play on anyway? The fans all wanted Bentley but I dont think he was on the radar. Exactly the reason why you don't sign all the "Big" name FA. You still need to manage your cap and sign your own players to long term deals. You need to be very selective in FA because such big bonuses are given. Pitt, NE and Seattle did not get to the SB because of FA. On the other hand, Commanders spend like crazy and isn't closer to the SB than anyone else in NFC East.

I certainly hope that we are not going to let too many "PLAYERS" slip through our fingers...

I think the Cowboys alread know that they are signing Fabini, Vinatieri and Owens...

We just have to be patient... but if thats not the case and we dont lock down some players then I would understand your concern... as it stands right now... I am concerned... NOT worried... YET....
