What a nightmare for NFC teams this postseason

I maybe feel bad for Detroit and Dallas.
Green Bay was given a gift by the replay officials and squandered it away.
Seattle shot themselves in the foot.

I've never felt sorry for a fanbase like I feel sorry for Seahawks fans now. I can only imagine if that had been my team that gave away a sure victory in the SB in the closing seconds. Maybe it's not as bad since they got one last year, but jeez.

If that had been Dallas, I'd be on an island by myself talking to a volleyball somewhere right about now, maybe never to return.

The Detroit thing is bogus I don't get it. The only team that got robbed was Dallas, everybody else just melted down...

And they got progressively worse. LOL. The PI non-call in the Detroit game was the least devastating. The Lions still had plenty of opportunities to overcome that. The Dez non-catch was worse and frankly, I didn't think it could get much worse. But as a Packers fan? Losing a game with a 15-point lead, with just a few minutes left for a chance to go to the Super Bowl? Brutal. I thought that took the cake. And Seattle managed to find a way to beat it! That has to be about the most devastating loss a fan could deal with. That was just awful...for them. LOL.

Great observation. As they say, "Truth is stranger than fiction."

The fact that their problems were self-inflicted does not help their fan bases, I can assure you. LOL. Detroit fans got the joy of making the playoffs, their ensuing pain was the least intense. Us Cowboys fans got the joy of making the playoffs AND winning a game...and ultimately got a bigger screw job than Detroit did. The Packers got the joy of making the playoffs and advancing to the NFC championship game. But their season would end in even worse misery. And then there's Seattle -- the perfect opportunity to win the rare back to back SBs and take their place among the all time great teams. Now? Now they're just another SB winner, destined to take a backseat to the great Cowboys, Steelers, 49ers, and Patriots teams of other eras. They can't get that back. That's gone forever. Brutal.

Yeah, they can get it back. Remember, the Cowboys lost their first two attempts at back-to-back Super Bowls. We lost to the Colts then beat the Dolphins. We beat the Broncos then lost to the Steelers.

But we won back to back by beating the Bills twice. The Seahawks still have time with this group to win back-to-back Super Bowls. They'll just have to start over again.

But I agree with you, the hurt got progressively worse.
