this season has been a complete opposite of last year in terms of getting hot at the right time...funny thing is we lost the turkey game last yr and never recovered.

The season ended when we lost Flozell Adams. Plain and simple. Bledsoe was never the same after he started taking that shellacking. THe offense ground to a halt.

The team that wins the SB isn't always the team with the best record, it is the team playing the best football at this time of year.

Look at the Steelers of last season. They ran the table after starting 7-5.

We are clearly the team that is playing the best football right now, though you can make a case for San Diego also.

I just would prefer the NFC Championship game to be at Texas Stadium than in cold and windy Chicago.

Assume we grab the bye and Chicago happens to lose in its first playoff game. It could happen.

I have this strange feeling that the bears would struggle right now against us or carolina.

I just think they are not the superpower they appear to be.

Then again that maybe true for us too!

I think if we can win the divivison and get that bye some things could really fall into our lap.

Long way to go though, I dont even like talking about this stuff, its bad karma.

Romo played in Illinois weather in college, so I don't think it will effect him.

But I have a feeling both us and Carolina will finish strong and meet in the divisional round with the winner to play at Chicago.

Good chance of that happening.

I think the winner of the nfc east is going to be in a good position though.

I think seattle is as good as anyone if they can get hassleback and alexander going in the next 6 weeks.

Seattle is a team we here nothing about, but if healthy they are as good as anyone in the nfc.

JJ went to ND, TO played in Philly, TG played in GB and NE.

It could be a beautiful day in Chicago like it was last year for Smiths dominance.

He's not the one I'm worried for, it's the receivers and the DBs. Still that wind is monstrous at times.

Im very confident in Dallas, but even if we weren't good, I would say the following...

WHO HAS CHICAGO BEATEN? A mediocre Seattle team? A badly wounded Giants team?

Chicago is good. They have a good D. But come on, they play Minny, Green Bay, and Detroit 6 times. Plus the NFC West which is garbage up and down, and the AFC East, which has one good team.

The Dolphins look pretty decent right now, that was a loss. I doubt they beat New England this week.

That team will probably finnish 14-2 or 13-3, but they will definately be much closer to a 10-6 team in reality.

So much buzz around this team now. Next week will be the true test where we find out what this team can do.

Please, Flozzell or not, Bledsoe ammo late season past 5 years or so has been the same. Start hot and then go cold at the end.
I am just happy finally BP came to his senses and that BP did a great job with bringing along Romo, whether or not I agree with his slow approach before or not, he has proven to be the right, and I have to say, I was wrong, maybe Romo wouldn't be so great before this year.

Yep! You said it... the hottest team won last year not the best.........baseball has been like that for the last couple of years
