the rumor is, he failed a physical in NY before FA started,, and then failed the physical here.. stilla good chance we sign him alittle later if he passes before camp starts.

'Failed physical' is just the obligatory reason given when a team releases an injured player. Chris Claiborne got the same thing from the Rams because he's coming off of knee surgery. Until its mentioned in a credited publication, I have a hard time believing he's been to the Ranch yet. I'm not sure why JJT and Todd Archer would have known about the Cowboys interest in Ryan Hannam, but Jason Fabini's visit slips under their radar.

Jason Fabini didn't come in under the Dallas media radar. It was reported day or so before FS started that he was in town and would be taking physical a physical. The next thing we hear he left town w/o signing a contract.
