No doubt Dallas main needs are at CB,RB and WR but does anyone think Dallas will look to the OL in the draft as well? If you think so any names out there that may be catching your attention?

the line is a tricky thing. Will columbo be re-signed? how many years will flo actually play? Is mcquistan ready to take over at right tackle? Will free be ready to take over at lt next year? Will James Marten take kosiers spot next season?

I think if a lineman they really believed in was there they would take them, but it would be hard to justify an interior lineman with either of the 1st round picks.

I did not mean 1st rd. I was thinking along the lines of 3rd rd or later. One line position I would like to add to would be Center but any added depth along the OL I think would be something Dallas may look into

I think we'll take a C/OG prospect this year, they wanted to last year and were targeting Samson Satele, but he was taken before our pick in the 2nd

I think two of the biggest needs for our team are at RG and NT. The Cowboys have wanted to move Ratliff to DE for two seasons now. Krosier is not the kind of OL that fits our scheme. I could easily see us taking either if the best player on the board was at one of those positions.

well this is kosiers last season here just because of the market of lineman. he will be dolphin next year. I think marten slides into that lg spot unless we draft a guard in the mid rounds which makes alot of sense.

as far as ratliff goes, he has always been an end here. Parcells had him playing end for two years, it was just last season because of the injuries he had to move to the nose.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Cowboys draft either OT Oneil Cousins or OG Mike McGlynn. Both can play all the OL positions (Cousins I believe is also a L/S) but both best suited inside. Wouldn't be surprised if either could legitimatedly challenge Kosier this year.

Flozel's contract is set up to be very cap friendly the first 2-3 years which will give Free (unless Houck likes McQuistan better) enough time/playing experience to take over. Marten didn't look that impressive last year but it entirely possible he performs better after participating in the weight conditioning program -- but that applies to Free as well -- and all the other newbies drafted in 07. I like Colombo's nasty attitude & want to keep him but the reality is we've got young/cheaper OT talent who should be able step up to replace him. Of course McQuistan & Marten also spent lot of time at OG in college so either can could also be given opportunity at OG. Of course we got Proctor at OG/C so Cowboys have some leeway if Cousins/McGlynn already gone.

BTW: Believe OL Kyle Kosier signed a 5 year contract back in 05 so he could be around through the 09 season unless he gets beaten out. On the other hand, he's cheap ($15M for 5 years) so we could afford keep him around til the end of his contract as an experienced backup.
