Dak did it.My issue again isn't the numbers so much it's just the point of going through being tagged. Don't players want long term security etc instead of betting on themselves??

What other teams started negotiations with their own players a long time ago.The horrible thing is they should have started negotiations a long time ago. It will be used as an excuse as why we won't be active early in FA.
Not sure what other teams do have to do with the Cowboys. What other teams started negotiations with their own players a long time ago.
No team has yet.
SureNope, especially since they used last year to clear several big contracts off the books.
By doing what we can't blame him for everythingDak did it.
It certainly does have something to do with your comments. You act like Dallas is the only team that has not started negotiating with their own players. Not sure what other teams do have to do with the Cowboys.
What teams have 2 $30M+ WR's?
But yet he does get much of the blame. You seen it.By doing what we can't blame him for everything
Perhaps not the best example. Is it possible, just possible, that the Bengals' decline last year might have had something to do with spending too much of their cap space on WR's?It certainly does have something to do with your comments. You act like Dallas is the only team that has not started negotiating with their own players.
And does it matter if other teams have two WR”s making that kind of money. Bengals do.
Or Micah. Not exactly correct. Dallas has the right to two first round picks, but it doesn’t have to be. A team may be willing to overpay for Pickens, but before they do, they can call Dallas and offer a different deal. “Instead of this year’s first and next year’s first, would you take a first and a second? Sometimes teams negotiate the compensation, but Dallas can demand two firsts which would likely run off most teams when it’s not for a franchise QB.
He has to sign the tag.How does he sign a contract with another team without negotiating?
Do you even remotely pay attention?Pickens agent made it very clear they weren't doing squat..... until around now.The horrible thing is they should have started negotiations a long time ago. It will be used as an excuse as why we won't be active early in FA.
That is not exactly what he said.Do you even remotely pay attention?Pickens agent made it very clear they weren't doing squat..... until around now.
No, but its easy in hindsight to judge. I said as soon as they got Pickens he was going to have 80 catches, 1200 yards and 8 tds. Very few in here predicted that. Had Jerry offered Pickens a deal in Oct for 28 to 30 million per season, he would have been crucified in here. That is not exactly what he said.
Your saying Jerry wanted to negotiate sooner and his agent said no???
