Players like Mo and TWill won't break the bank and if we don't resign them, their replacements need drafted. Therefore I sign players like that in a heartbeat so we can spend valuable draft picks filling holes.

I feel we can replace twill with a 2nd or 3rd rounder in the draft... hes not that dynamic that we can't replace him

Mo I feel we should take a lee type contract with as if he has turned the corner we have a very good boundary corner

I'm a big negatory on TWill. We HAVE to get better and more consistent at that spot.

We gotta throw some money at this defense and draft some guys as well.

I think T. Will is going to be cheap enough to resign and it takes WR's forever to learn our scheme so I bet he is a priority FA.

I think all of these guys will be back besides Leary.

Leary is not going to be re-signed he is going to get a contract just below the upper echelon guards. Think of him as the equivalent to the 90's Kevin Gogan. I think that bridge has been dynamited, not to mention Martin is due up for an extension. Mo will want upper tier CB based on his play before injury though that price may cone down because he almost makes Lee look durable, Church is a maybe IMO if we can get someone with a higher ceiling without a much higher price tag I say do it. Buh-Bye Twill, and Crawford just signed an extension 2 years ago.
The gogan comparison is spot on
I do think one of Carr or Mo will be back
Church likely gets to return
Twill and Leary are gone
And we need to draft a "zeke" for the defense
A dominate guy who can elavate the D

I don't care how cheap TWill could be. At the end of the day, what does he provide as the #2 WR that couldn't easily be replaced, and hopefully much improved from someone else?

We need to continue to draft well. This current draft landed us some serious ammo for the future. But it needs to continue.

We have quite a few contracts expiring, and we can't keep them all. They'll need to be replaced via the draft and mid-level FA's. No super contracts.

We let Harris walk who arguably brought more to the team
Twill would have to be mighty cheap to come back
I suspect we draft a guy and give butler a shot

It takes FA and young WR's FOREVER to learn our scheme and I don't see us addressing the WR position with big dollars or high draft picks. Insert T. Will.

I personally would like to go after Terrelle Pryor.

Leary limps away in FA
Mo is re-signed at 6m per
TMcClain gets a 2m deal
TWill or Butler plays for 2m, the other walks
Church, Carr and WiIcox may come back if no one wants them

Thought Crawford was signed for like 3 more years? Way overpaid but he's ok.

Happy Victory Monday I was curious we got some decisions to make in the off season and no I'm not talking Romo has anyone heard rather it be on the Break Talking Cowboys 1310 the ticket or any other outlet what is the thoughts on resigning Leary, Mo, Church, T Crawford and T Will. I know we can't sign everyone but what is the word on these players Thanks in advance

Leary- yes if the price is right. (But it won't be)
Mo- yes, better than Carr and younger. CB is top 3 priority in draft once again.
Church- Meh, if ya want.
Crawford- yes, but don't break the bank, imo front 7 is #1 priority this off season.
TWill- No, he's had his chances and never really showed anything. Draft a WR in round 2-4 with big time speed.

True enough, but whether we go vet or draft someone and let them learn, we severely need to get better at that spot, IMO.

Leary - I'd love to sign him but doubt we can
Mo - don't trust the convenient production and he's hurt again, wouldn't sign him
Church - I'd prefer to get better at this position on the field but he's a big locker room guy, so it's a push
T Crawford - no thanks
T Will - no thanks

Basically. except last part. I think Carr is a lock, mainly because Mo is going to take a while to check his value. Either Church/Wilcox will be back, but not both. I'd think Church is the preferred, with Frazier getting more development and filling the Wilcox role.

We saw we could win without Dez, Butler played a role in that. Twill is gone imo. I'd like to devote as many resources to defense as possible, but a 2-3 rounder at WR is definitely a possibility.

And T Crawford? he's already signed.

I don't agree with winning without Dez...he is the WR1 that makes everything work......Beaz is the slot and Witten is ageless....not many balls left for WR3-5
