If you don't want to discuss it with me then don't respond. You're entitled to your opinion but given your hyperbole I don't think what you say is an informed opinion.

He certainly made some mental mistakes but he got better as the year went on.

I agree that Claiborn had his best year as a pro. Nothing earth shattering, but I am all for resigning him to a middling contract in the chance event that he starts to get it. I no longer have high hopes that he will be a shut down corner. But he isnt being paid like that.

Claiborne is a huge bust a huge drafting mistake I think the cowboys will move on from him like they are from hardy who was also a mistake.

I think McClay is a significant improvement over what we had before. He has done an above average job at player evaluation and acquisition. I like the direction we are heading as a general rule.

We have no idea what McClay's responsibilities are so it's hard to hold him accountable for anything.

Anthony Hitchens, Devin Street, Ben Gardner, Will Smith, Ahmad Dixon, Ken Bishop, Terrance Mitchell, Damien Wilson, Ryan Russell, Mark Nzeocha, Laurence Gibson, Geoff Swaim.

They say day 3 of the draft is for the scouts. It's their time to shine.

Huge fan of Will McClay and what he's doing here. Go Cowboys.

He earned an extra year with the club. He was a disappointment, for sure. He's capable of starting at CB in this league, though.

The Hardy experiment was a good one. I'd like to see the team make that same bet ten times out of ten. We'll see what ends up happening with that one when its all said and done. He might end up back in Dallas on a short deal.

the head coach don't want hardy back so I don't think he will be back. as far a mo when u draft a player as high as he was drafted you need to be more than just a starter you need to be a difference maker and playmaker. he is neither.

Where he's drafted only mattered on draft day. From that point on, he gets evaluated on ability. He's a middling starter. He didn't live up to expectations, but he's not an outright bust, either. If he couldn't play at all, that's a busted pick.

We'll see on Greg Hardy. When the season ended, I'd agree with you. I still think that's probably right, but the longer FA goes on without any interest, the higher the likelihood of a return becomes. It might just be that the team thought he was going to be too expensive to bring back for the headache he represents. But the guy really can play, and we need pressure players badly.

Morris Claiborne "can't play at all." That's why he's back in Dallas on a 1 year, 3 million dollar deal.

The team has done well in the first round the last few seasons. They need to improve in the later rounds. I think McClay has improved the team's scouting overall, Garrett as well.

Us and every other team in the NFL.

One of the biggest myths perpetuated by the fans here is that every other good team drafts pro bowlers in late rounds every year. It just simply isn't true.

McClay has a tough task when I consider the head coach's approach to winning football games. When the head coach wants all 22 guys on the field to be better than the man in front of him....not sure any personnel guy can accommodate this requirement.

The head coach produced his only winning season when his starting RB produced the greatest rushing season in franchise history. Then then head coach struggled to get first downs the following year without said RB and his starting QB. Never expected to win without my starting QB....but first downs should not have been to much to ask for.

I think hes done a good job, Sucks we aren't signing anyone but I'm sure that's for our offense lineman.

Selvie was a 7th rounder, we can't sign everybody just because ESPN and NFL Network says they're good. The guys signed today were available for a reason, either their old team couldn't afford them or didn't want them anymore.

Post this every few days...Absolutely!
