Look at the end of the Half, that was at least a 6 point swing
and took away a two possession lead.
As great as Dez catch was we should have been running the ball at that point.
The quick score was going to leave Rogers to much time to break our hearts.

In all honesty. We would have had a first down and they would have had no timeouts. At that point kneel the ball down once and punch it in with Murray. They would have had less then a minute with no timeouts

the NFL official in the replay booth STOLE the game from Dallas by pretending that completing the process means more than getting an elbow down. Obviously, that official should be fired.

But Dallas deserves compensation, because their Super Bowl run was cut short, maliciously. The NFL has illegitimized the rest of the NFC playoffs. It is a travesty. Nothing will be enough, except for playing the last 4:09 of the game.

Since they have run out of time to do that, what is left for the league to do?? I say additional draft picks. If the Cowboys had #1, 2 and #3 overall pick in the draft in addition to their #27 pick, I would be less angry about it.

If you think I'm poking fun, or attempting satire, I am not!! I am dead serious. The actions of the officials who overturned a CATCH, are criminally vindictive and malicious.

The party's over
They say that
All good things must end
Call it tonight
The party's over
And tomorrow starts
The same old thing again

I really wish that Jerry would do something and do an investigation on why the catch was overruled. I just don't want it to ever happen again. Everyone in the world knows that was a catch and the call was biased. Why was it overruled NOT a catch?

This is what you can count on--

We'll get the same thing the Patriots got after the Tuck.
Or what the Seahawks got after the Steelers Superbowl.
Or what Houston got after the Mike Renfro call.

See where I'm going with this?

Why would the patriots get anything after the 'Tuck'?

They were the 'tuck'............

If not Jerry, someone......

ummmmmmmmm You know I could put together a hell of a documentary...

Now to make it the least bit entertaining, I will have to go all...9/11 Conspiracy" on your adoubeleS

But it could be done, "relatively cheaply"....well, maybe not so cheap.. but I would need connections, and TIME. lots of time.... Time Management and availability would be huge...and most importantly....a connection. And, someone (a name) who actually willing to do it...

Its a great idea though..

Can a mod please delete this? It's makes us all look bad, like it was the first and only controversial call ever.

What compensation should the Cowboys receive?
Answer: A time machine.

We need a volunteer to travel back in time.

Rowdy to the rescue!

Rowdy will travel back in time four years to the week when the NFL competition committee met following the Calvin Johnson TD catch reversal. Rowdy bursts into the committee meeting...

"IT'S ROWDY!"

After howls of "HIS HEAD IS HUGE" subside, the committe chairman asks, "What's with your head, I mean, what's on your mind, Rowdy?"

Keeping a straight face, Rowdy points out the flaws inherent with the completed pass rule. The committee members are stunned. "We will fix this immediately, Mr. Fathead! Sorry. We will fix this immediately, Rowdy."

Rowdy jumps back into his time machine and returns to the present. With a smile befitting The Joker, Rowdy rejoices over the team reaching the NFC Championship, knowing that he is the only mutant headed person in the entire world who remembers what really happened last Sunday.

The End.

Wait. There's no such thing as time machines!
What compensation should the Cowboys receive?

Let it go, it is done and over nothing is going to change it, we will not get compensated.

I bet Lions fans would tell you it wasn't even the biggest goof of this year's playoffs. It's done and over with and no one is compensating any team for mistakes made by the officials. It's ridiculous to even suggest such a thing. Where would it end? Is every bad call worth a 7th round pick? The 7th round would be 400 picks long!

It's not controversial. It's definitively the wrong call.

So you say. The NFL says differently, thus, the controversy. If they came out and said it should have been ruled a catch, then it would no longer be a controversy. It would then be a wrong call.

it wouldve. And, it wouldve changed the game drastically. I would put the house up , on a W , after that.

Momentum our way would have been huge. I think we would have stopped Rodgers even after how good he was the 2nd half.

first. comparing the lions call with this one is like comparing, a bad o2 sensor to a blown engine.....

but, youre right. no compensation. It stays on the field.
