What could they have done to win?

Had Jeff Heath cover Jared Cook.

Or put Byron Jones in spandex and have him broad jump on the sidelines. Hopefully that would have mesmerized Rodgers/McCarthy like it mesmerized Stephen and McClay. Either way, he'd be off the field and we'd have a leg up.

I think that was just an amazing throw and catch and he did a fair job at guarding that zone. There could've easily been someone just to his left.

I think the real failure is having to play such a janky defensive scheme in the first place. Can't believe we lost ware. Manage your budget guys sheesh

There's too many obvious things to even write let alone some of the minor things that they could have done. Not counting the Eagles game at the end, the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Dallas Cowboys 3 times this year.

I'm over this loss and don't want to keep on pondering the what ifs, how's, why's. But I will throw in my 2 cents here. I believe the playcalling needed more runs. Feed the OROY especially on short yardage gains. Who knows, maybe he breaks one. But none the less, we'll never know.

Agreed. He completely gave up on the play. Kid relies on athleticism alone. Next to no ball skills or "football instinct."

What about starting brown and a rookie at corner. Scandrock at the slot. And Byron at db with Wilcox at ss.

Made plays. On some pass completions DB was right there but couldn't quite do anything about it. Bottom line, despite legitimate gripes over officiating and coaches, their players made the critical plays when they had to and ours didn't. Final play leading to game-winning field goal is a prime example.
