Since we just traded a guy who only played in two real NFL games, who also happens to be injured, what could we get for Nick "The Golden Cock" Hayden?

A conditional seventh or a camp body. Sorta like what we got for Bass I'd guess.

It's more than likely we would lose more than we would gain. Hayden should be a descent backup on the line this season. He's not a starter and he wore down the further he got into the season last year, getting to many reps. He should have a good feel for the system and spot duty should keep him fresh.

Hayden? Nothing. Now the nickname might have some value in some circles that jerry travels in. ........

Im sure they could get something for Hayden. While the guy played as one of the worse DT in the league last year - he was healthy every game. Not to mention the only person productive on the line last year was Selvie.

The guy brought everything he had in every game last year without getting hurt. He's not all that but he absolutely pasted the Vikes QB in the endzone last year. That's got to be worth a little respect.

We need him until we can see that McClain will be healthy. Even then, he's probably more consistent than Bishop. It wouldn't do much good to get rid of him now.

The Pats were probably getting ready to cut the CB that the Cowboys got for Bass.

If Hayden were cut, I doubt if anybody would sign him.
