What Cowboy move would SHOCK you draft day?

A couple of years ago, I was absolutely stunned that Dallas dropped out of the 1st round, and a few year back I was also shocked that Dallas dropped down from the 5th spot (I think it was) when RW was there, but still got him.

My Cowboys biggest shocker, would be if we traded all the way up and took a QB in this years draft. My mouth would hit the floor.

Yeah, I wouldn't be shocked (a little surprised maybe) if we traded up a few spots to get a guy we thought wouldn't be there at 18, especially if someone like Huff made it to the teens somehow. But anything drastic like trading away next years 1st rounder would really shock me.

I don't know about shock, but drafting a FS in one would really disappoint me.

I can see a bunch of different scenarios now.

Dropping down or out of one altogether.

Taking any number of positions: OLB, NT, OL, FS (not in 1!), WR.

Heck, even if they took BPA and got a RB or CB I wouldn't be totally shocked although I don't know if it'd be the smartest move.

That move would shock me, but man I sure like DeAngelo.

I am in know way predicting we will take him, as a matter of fact I predict we will not. However, assuming for one second that Dallas does draft him, I would immediately start looking to trade Marion Barber.

I know JJ is probably the obvious choice to trade, but I think you hang on Julius and pray that both DeAngelo and JJ tear it up on the field like Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson.

The following year you move one of the young RBs for a premium pick. You trade JJ now and you get next to nothing in return. Hold onto him and he stays healthy then you are in good shape.

Having said all that...will not happen.

I would be shocked if at number 8 Randy Moss were still available and we drafted Greg Ellis instead, oh wait, that really happened.

Somebody is going to get a steal in him. Reminds me of the E Smith scenario. Blair Thomas highly touted and some too small too slow RB gets drafted and the rest is history.

Not saying Bush is going to be a bust at all, but DeAngelo is flying way under the radar as far as first round talent goes.

He is my favorite non-must need in the draft.

I would not be shocked to see Parcells mortgage the future for this year. Unfortunately, I don't see anyone in this year's draft that would have enough impact to get Bill to the Superbowl this year.

I would not be shocked to see Parcells mortgage the future for this year. Unfortunately, I don't see anyone in this year's draft that would have enough impact to get Bill to the Superbowl this year.

I do not see this at all.
Parcells has left other teams and has always left them with a great foundation and that is part of his legacy and I am sure he is aware of that.
