Thanks Gregory, you mental midget.
Man what a shame, he was starting to turn it on last year too.
Good draft for DE's......Jerry needs to pull out the old rolodex and make some calls........start trying to package some players to move up in this draft. We can't sign everybody to a second contract.
As usual, All the blue chippers will be long gone.
With how loaded this draft is at pass rusher, I think we'll have a legit shot at stud with our 2nd round pick.
There will be guys there worth the pick
The problem is that means picking later for other needs we have but if the quality is there you got to take one
Sure ain’t excited about Taco time
Haven't looked at a single DE, welp, time to find a pet cat or two on the edge.
You’re gonna have fun digging into this group!
Let me know who you’re liking after you check some dudes out.
Yep. I was starting to feel a little good about him.
~Im a big fan of Clemson's Austin Bryant.
love his size...as strong vs the run as he is a pass rusher.
~I also like Charles Omenihu,Texas...6'6...long arms...good pass rusher and is good vs the run...atleast in the games I watched he was.
after Rd 2:
•Shareff Miller,Penn St
My pet cat is Chase Winovich out of Michigan. I don't know why his hype train died, but he's listed as prospect #93 on draftscout.com and I've got a 2nd round grade on him. The combine might play a big part in whether not he'd even appear on the Cowboys radar, as he's currently listed at 6'2 3/4", which may be too short for the Cowboys.
Another pet cat of mine is Sutton Smith out of Northern Illinois, but it's wrong of me to even mention him. If Chase Winovich is too short, Sutton Smith is a midget. He measured in at the Senior Bowl at 6'0 3/8" with 30 5/8" arms.
Maxx Crosby,E Michigan....man gets after it.
I haven’t really either
Now it becomes a huge need
I love the high motor guys like Winovich that had success in college, but for someone like him the combine will be huge.
The scouting reports read limited athlete so if he can’t prove otherwise I likely wouldn’t take him.
But they drafted that Armstrong dude last year, just as all the other DE's in the 4th and 5th rounds in previous years that have not worked out.
And what about that Taco guy.
DE once again will be a priority over DT & S in the eyes of Marinelli and the FO.
Draft picks are investments for the future.
Reaching for a position at 58 at the expense of highly graded player who is justified to be worth the 58th selection would be a mistake.
Stick to your draft board.
DT is more of a NEED..
Dallas only has 2 on the roster...some DE in free agency for cheap
I’d agree, DT is more important to me as well but DE just skyrocketed up the needs list so it should be a consideration for us in the 2nd.
imo DE bigger priority than TE,Taco is a bust.
