What do we do at DT?

I'm wondering is they don't cut Wilbur or Arkin to sign a young defensive tackle to help get them through week one and then maybe look at a vet like Amobe Okoye after Sunday night's game?

That's what I would do anyway.

I think we'll be fine getting through week one with what we have. Can always bring in a vet after the first week like you said.

Pendleton is a guy who played pretty well in the HoF game, i thought.. and then after that he was almost non existent.

I looked him up a few minutes ago.

Not a bad option in a pinch and I don't believe his contract guarantees after week one so you can sign him for just a week or two if you wanted.

I liked Pendleton. I like him more than Marvin Austin actually.

He won't offer much of a rush but he can give you some decent snaps when he is out there.

pendelton is a guy you might could actually get in her and dress sunday. was with us in camp and atleast be some depth to rotate in to rest some guys. but this is a bad place to have an injury because that means you have to keep two roster spots open for a few weeks at just the dt spot waiting on players to get healthy. i think i would bring him in and cut arkin, or killer today. then monday look and see if there is a better option that you can sign who would agree to a non guranteed contract. a guy like seymour won't agree to it so thats not a real option. once you get your guys healthy if you want you could bring back the oline guy. i don't think either would get signed by another team

If they determine the Bass injury is closer to 4 weeks then 2, I would put him on PUP. My only question would be was it considered a preseason injury?

I'm not that concerned.

Obviously the 3rd guy is going to get a lot of work.

But on passing-likely downs they can bring in a defensive-end and put them at one of the DT spots.

Yea, the new guy from the Colts seems like he might be strong enough to bounce inside at times. No doubt he'd be willing to at least. Seems like a tough, hard nosed type of guy who will go 110% every play.
