You've spent millions in attracting talent to this team (and taken multiple risks).
You've put together a defense full of talented, star-studded first rounders, and hired one of the greatest defensive minds in football as a head coach.
You've spent obsene money keeping one of the most brilliant, offensive minds with the team, paying him more than what most head coaches make.
You've gone out and added your "WOW" player to an already-explosive offense (and he sat on the bench today).
And yet, in crunch time today, your defense comes up small, cannot stop (a very good) division opponent at home, and gave up the game (in part) because of a mental error of having twelve men on the field after a time out.
If you are the owner and GM, do you change anything, or do you just chalk it up to poor play and poor coaching, and just hope that things get better?
Me, I climb into the limo, get drunk on the way home, walk in the front door, kick the dog, and throw all the empties through my big-screen TVs.
It's a start ...
