What do you guys think of moving Martin to RT next season?

Free is getting long in the tooth and I think Parnell is a serviceable backup but nothing more in the LONG term. We can always draft or sign a free agent Guard...preferably a mauler. Remember, before you answer this question Martin was an outstanding RT at Notre Dame. Thoughts?

No, he was all pro as a rookie at guard, moving him would be nuts.

I don't think you can find a dominate guard to replace him with. I guess if someone pops up in the draft you want your 5 most talented linemen out there on the field on Sunday. But I think Parnell at right tackle is far better than anyone you can find to play up to Martin's capabilities at guard.

Yea, I'm not one to mess with a good thing. And, honestly, interior pass rush is what Romo has more trouble dealing with anyway. Guard is probably more important to our offense than RT.

zack was a lt in college

i made a thread about putting him at lt and tyron back at rt...

it did not go to well.

i do think he is better at guard though at this level.

I wouldn't mess with him. Leave him where he excelled and figure out RT.

Keep him at the RG spot. Keep either Free or Parnell. Another full season with the same faces on the line will only help build continuity and confidence.

I have no problem with moving Martin if they have a legit guard to replace him with. Remember Larry Allen was moved around early in his career as well.

To be clear Id like to sign a solid vet guard and maybe slide Martin to RT but... We have SO many guys to sign in FA as it is...wouldnt work
