Do the Titans agree with you that he is expendable at this time?

Who knows? This is the off season and there is little to talk about that we have not already gone over ad nauseum on this board (AP trade I'm looking at you) and this is something new. Purely hypothetical and unlikely to happen but it's something new to discuss at least.

No one. Point is Titans think highly of him and aren't gonna trade him for 7th round pick. They'll hold out until the best offers come in. Like any team does.

They'd take a 1st round pick today for him. No matter which team offered it.

No thanks he doesn't run. Only trade if there is one which I doubt would be for a RB.

We are talking for the future here. You do realize that the NFL continues after this season, yes? Trading for a RB is a whole other discussion.

You stated that you wanted only a trade for a RB, which you think would help us this year. We also know what RB you want, which will not help us in the future because he is 30 years old.

If I were the Titans I would trade Mettenberger now.

His stock will never be better than it is right now, unless, hes good and I don't see that as a possibility.

He was pretty good last year, on a bad team. Would be interesting to see him with some talent around him. Apparently his teammates love him toom

Titans are keeping him. Sure they can get a higher 1st round pick for him, than what the Boy's could offer (which should be a low 1st rounder this year).

No team is offering up a 1st rounder for Mettenberger.

Young, big and strong. Had a decent season with a mediocre team last year and is now expendable after the Titans drafting Mariota.

I think it might be worth it if we can get him for a decent investment.

I'd trade Brandon Weeden for him. Maybe Dexter Coakley too.

Vaughn's better than Mett, who's also somewhat of a headcase.

But weeden is showing improvement, he can be our starter in 6-7 years when Romo retires!!! Why do ppl wanna find romos replacement he is 35 years young (for QBs 35 is the new 28) and with the advancement in stim-cell research the back injuries are a non-issue....

Dude when Romo retires, Weeden will be entering the stages of retirement as well. Hell, he should have retired a decade ago.

I wanted us to draft him in the 5th last year...so yes.

I think we felt more urgency to take Devin Street though...so we traded up and got him

they will want to see Mariota in live game action before they consider dealing him, but I'm not a huge fan of his anyway.
