Looks like he had a shaky practice day yesterday.

How good or how bad does he have to be in practice and the remainder of the pre-season to win or lose the FG kicker spot opening day?

Or is the staff's mind already made up to start the season with him to save a roster spot?

Of all the positional spots I think this is the one that is the most undecided in my feeble mind.

As Folk showed us last year it can cost you games and home field advantage.

He's got a roster spot no matter what.

But if he wants to be this team's field goal kicker, he has to make just about everything from here on out.

isn't that setting the bar way too high?

I mean in games...practice I don't care about all that much. But another miss in a game and he's in some deep poop.

IMO, to be a Cowboys kicker, you should be able to kick 50 yard field goals in hurricane force wind/rain/hail/snow. ...but thats just my opinion. ;)

:lmao2:Agreed.

He needs to mean mug the goal posts. In doing so they will realize that if the ball starts to venture left or right of them, they will move in fear of retribution.

If he can make it through some shaky periods in pre-season it will probably greatly benifit him in the real season. Hopefuly it will help him not get so shaken if he misses one or two.
